Paige sighed as she looked out her bedroom window seeing at all the couples walk and talk together after school. Every afternoon, she would close her eyes and pray with all of her heart that she will find true love at her school someday.
No one ever seemed to notice her and so she always felt lonely and scared. Her parents were always fighting and never spent time with her. She shook her head to block out the sadness and focused on her homework. She was a definite nerd because she hoped this way her parents would notice her success.
When it was dinner time, Paige took her plate to her room, shut her door, and cried. She felt especially depressed today because today Brianica, the meanest pop in the school, made out and bragged about her new boyfriend, Dylan.
