Getting together

Paige pretty much just dazed off during dinner ignoring the argument between her parents about work. She dreamed the same dream as last night although Brianica said "You are so close," after Paige was pushed down. What did that mean? Beep. Beep. Beep. Aw dang. The alarm again! Paige turned off her alarm, jumped out of bed and was already digging through her closet trying to pick out what dress to wear. "Pink... or blue... pink... or blue... Pink! She completely forgot about the dreams she's been having lately.

She slipped on her lacy pink dress and put on a white headband. She always liked bright colors. She decided to add a charm bracelet with a charm for every great memory in her life to her outfit. I can start talking about my background if he notices it! Perfect!

After breakfast, she worked on her smile when she would see him again. "I wonder what he's like. Is he very smart like me? Or is he more laid back? I don't know much about him at all in fact!" Questions popped in her head like popcorn. Bong. It just turned 2:00 pm. "Oh gosh! One more hour! Remember, don't lose your cool girl," she said to herself. She started to walk over at 2:45, right after she finished her lunch. Once she reached the spot where they met, there he was. Her love. He wore a little bit more casual clothes but that didn't matter to Paige. He was walking down the street and spotted her. Will this be the day I find my life long love?

"Oh. Wow, you're here!" He almost sounded surprised. Paige thought it was probably because the dress she wore. She blushed.

"Of course I'm here silly," she kind if twirled her dress a little.

"Well, ummm do you want to go to the mall with me then?"

"Sure! Of course!" Oh my gosh! This is turning out to be a date! I'm going to love this! Paige was so excited.

They walked to the mall and just said nothing. Paige thought she would save all of her information once they got inside.

"Soooo, do you like spaghetti?" Davis asked casually.

"I love spaghetti," Paige answered. *gasp* this is like a lady and the tramp meal thing!

Paige got a table for two and Davis bought the spaghetti. He bought two. Not surprising because one would've been to fast of a move.

"Here ya go," he gave her a plate.

"Thanks!" She said gratefully.

She ate with her charm bracelet side for him to notice and sure enough, he asked what the charms meant.

"The heart is for my family, the bee is for winning the spelling bee, the book for my love of learning, the Mickey Mouse for my trip to Disneyland, (etc.) So what about you? Tell me about you,"

"Well, I like sports like soccer, basketball, and tennis. I also like the drums. School isn't my talent or passion, and ummm yeah,"

"Wow! That's very interesting,"

Paige felt like time went by so fast, like a race car. They've been talking for an hour but it felt like 10 minutes! Paige asked Davis to walk her to her door and he did. Paige looked back on her date and realized that her prayers came true! It was interesting that they were like complete opposites. But being opposite didn't matter to her. Paige's fingers tingled as she still felt the warm touch of his hand. Was this what true love felt like?
