Chapter 5: I'm sorry

Louis' POV

Damn it.

I sighed and rested against her door, slowly falling asleep.

***********************In Dream****************

"Ari's coming over for dinner by the way" I screamed to Haz.

"ooooo your girlfriend. Louis and Ariana sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First comes love then-" Haz sang but I covered his mouth.

"First of all, stop it and secondly, she's not my girlfriend YET" I said.

"Yeah about that, when are you going to ask her?" He asked.

"Tonight, so don't ruin it"

"Why do you suspect I'm going to ruin it?!"

"Because this is you we're talking about. You basically tell everyone EVERYTHING"

"Okay, no need to point fingers here, and what do you mean by everything?"

"Like last week when i told you I forgot Air's birthday, YOU TOLD HER!"

"What was I supposed to do? Not, tell her?"

"YES!"

"I don't tell people EVERYTHING"

"Yeah, you believe that. I'm gonna go get ready"

"For your date with your girlllllllllllllllllllllfrienddddddddddddddd!"

I rolled my eyes.

"But isn't your date at 9pm?" he questioned.

"Yeah?"

"It's 9am"

I groaned.

"So what do you wanna do while I try to kill time?" I asked.

"We can party all night, in the neon lights till you can't let me gooooo!!!!" He scream sang.

"Idiot" I mumbled and walked away into the game room.

I found NIall and Zayn playing whiles Liam was on the floor trying to pick up the crumbs they both spilled.

"What are y'all doing?" I asked.

"I'm waiting for my girlfriend" Niall said.

"When did you get a girlfriend?!"

"I asked Allie, unlike some people who can't do it after a year of dating someone"

"Shut up"

 "I mean Niall's got a point man" Liam said.

"Yeah, are you afraid of love or something?" Zayn asked.

I sighed and sat down in the beanbag.

"I just have this feeling in the bottom of my stomach that she'll fall for someone better than me, so I'd rather end it as friends with benefits than boyfriend and girlfriend"

"Man that's deep yet idiotic" Harry said walking in.

"Haz" I warned

"I mean it Lou, sometimes you just feel the wrong feelings, like love is unreadable, it's unpredictable. We live for the moment, we live life as it comes no matter what our minds and hearts are telling us, you always follow your heart even though it may seem like an idiotic reason you never question it because your heart knows best" he said.

"But-"

"Don't question it Lou" he said firmly

"I wish I didn't question mine" Zayn mumbled.

"Huh?"

"Perrie and I broke up......"

"Zayn....."

"I'm perfectly fine....."

"let's have a guys day out?"

"Yeah and we'll do whatever Zayn wants" Harry said.

"Thanks guys" He mumbled smiling

"Your welcome" I chirped.

"I'm in the mood for drawing and wall graffiti" He said

"Well let's go be some gangstas!" I screamed and popped up the west side sign.

"Louis you're going to get yourself killed" Liam said. 

"You jelly Liam" I smirked and he rolled his eyes.

Niall came back in, "I called Paul so he should be here with some form of security"

I sighed "We shouldn't need security to go to a simple place"

"Well some of our fans are just......determined" He said.

We all sighed and the doorbell rang.

i jogged to the door and pulled it open, "Hi Pauly!"

He scrunched up his face whiles shaking his head,

"Lets get going guys!"

*********** 12 hrs later ***********

I pulled out

I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna say it...

"I love you"

I SAID IT!!!!!!

Ariana's POV

"I love you" Louis said.

Those words hit me like a ton of bricks. I couldn't breathe. My chest got tighter. I was choking and I tried drinking water but it only made it worse.

Suddenly, everything turned black.

I woke up quickly, I noticed that my breathing was uneven.

I caught my breathe and ran my fingers through my hair multiple times.

I sighed and slowly got out of bed. I walked to the door an opened it to find Louis standing there.

We both stood there with none of us wanting to be the first one to talk.

I pushed past him and headed downstairs towards the kitchen. I heard Louis' fast footsteps following me.

"I'm sorry" he mumbled.

"I know you are" I said and walked over to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water.

"Oh....wait- What?" he asked.

"I know you're sorry, the usual it was mistake it's just that you're my best friend and I hate the thought of something upsetting you" I said and sat back on the couch.

He blinked before sitting next to me.

"yeah I guess" he muttered.

"Either way you're forgiven" I said and he smiled.

 He opened his arms and I giggled and hugged him

We stayed that way for the rest of the night
