You and Dan have been dating for 3 1/2 years and those 3 years were amazing. You just didn't want them to end You and Dan were siting on the couch and watching a movie you guys had picked. It's something you both had done since highschool. You felt today was really different Dan wasn't acting himself he was acting...distant. You decided to pause the movie so you can see what he was up to.

"Hey whoa y/n what are you doing? I was watching that" he managed to say with a mouth full of popcorn.

"Yeah I know you were but something is wrong something just isn't right. It's like you are trying to avoid me or something. Are you trying to avoid me?" With a serious face you stared into dans eyes.

"What no never why would I ever do that? You're the best thing that has ever happened to me!" He let out with sincerity

"Well why do I get the feeling that you were?" He comes up to hug you.

"Y/n I love you too much to push you away that's never an option for me I can't be with out you if I am I just don't feel like myself" you give a nod of approval.

"Well that was quite a testimonial you gave there Mr. Howell" something you called him from time to time.

"Anything for you Mrs. Howell" he never said that and this confused you that you were still trying to figure out why he said that, that you didn't even notice him pull out a nice sized ring.

"Will you u-um please make me the happiest living person on earth and be my wife?" You couldn't have said yes fast enough.

He put the ring on your finger and hugged you really tight and didn't let go not even for a second. You pulled away and kissed him softly, he smiled at you and pushed play on the remote so you can finish the movie. You decided you will tell everyone the big news tomorrow.
