Chapter Ten

"What?Ford,I have a friggin demon inside of me?!"Dipper asked,hands grasping his cap.
"Why,yes.You do."Ford nodded solemnly.
"Listen boy,I have an important task for you."Ford glanced at the floating demon,and met his one eye."Remember that infinity sided dice I showed you?"Dipper nodded."Well,it's not safe for anyone to find that dice.I hid it in the forest,but now I'm afraid it's more likely to be found.The only people who are able to open it are people who have been possessed by a demon-here,I have the map and instructions on how to find the dice.But I demon-proofed the case,so your going to need a mortal vessel for this."
"A-a mortal vessel."What?!"Can't you do it yourself?"
"Sorry Dipper,I'm busy with things.There is one person you could possess-your sister.It could work,because your soul has been possessed."
"Mabel?!Seriously Ford?"Dipper held his hands out.
"Seriously indeed.Look,you need a mortal vessel.There's no better choice than Mabel,is there?"Ford asked his nephew.
"Alright."the demon sighed,hand burning with red flames.

               Pacifica Elsie Northwest walked the forest of Gravity Falls.She gave a low whistle,enjoying her time alone in the serene woods.Pacifica stumbled over a log,a few bruises appearing on her knee,her ponytail became messy,and one of her diamond earrings fell on the ground.
               "Stupid log!"the girl muttered.She turned around and saw a hole she had created in the ground."What?!"
               Curious,Pacifica looked down at the shallow hole.Inside there was a safety box with symbols she had never seen before.Pacifica randomly pressed some symbols,and then suddenly,the safety box opened.
                "What the?"Pacifica saw a small briefcase inside the safety box.She took it out,deeply intrigued by it.
                  She opened the briefcase.Inside was this strange blue glowing dice that different symbols appeared on every second.Pacifica noticed a paper on the other side of the briefcase.She took it out and read it.
                  Dear Reader,if you have deciphered the safety box's code and gotten hands on my briefcase,I have something important to tell you.DO NOT ROLL THE DICE!It is an infinity sided dice,meaning if you roll it,ANYTHING could happen.You could turn into a bird,the clouds turn into cotton candy,ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN!It is dangerous,as I repeat again.DO NOT ROLE IT!
                 Pacifica scoffed."Is this some kind of loser's sick joke?"
                 Ignoring the warnings,she took the dice and rolled it.It landed on a symbol with a tree and a pigeon.Pacifica looked up to see the tree in front of her turn into a pigeon,then fly away.She gave a gasp.This was no sick loser's joke.
                 "Well,since it's dangerous,I better hide it away.I heard Mabel here in town.Hopefully she can help me."The Northwest muttered to herself.

                 "Mabel?"Dipper asked his sister,who was laying on her bed."You need to tell me about that dream of yours....what happened?"
                  Mabel sighed."It was more of a nightmare,if you please."She then explained to him everything,Pine Tree,Shooting Star,and the Fallen Ten.
                 "Yeah....Ford told me about the demons and all."he muttered."So...the more demon-like I become,the powerful Pine Tree becomes,then he takes over me....."
                  "Bro,let's ignore this,okay?We'll solve this,and turn you back.I promise.So what did you want to tell me earlier?."
                  "Uh-well,Ford said he needed help with getting the infinity sided dice,which he hid in the forest.....and he says only I am able to open it.I can't though,because he demon-proofed it.So I need a mortal vessel to do that.....would you be willing to be my vessel?"Dipper asked,and sighed."I don't want to possess anyone,but it has to end up like this."
                 "Anything for you,Dippingsauce!"Mabel smiled."But we have to make a deal,right?I want twenty cans of attack glitter!"
              The demon sighed."Attack glitter?Seriously Mabel?"
              "Yeah,you never know when you have to distract your enemies!"She took out her trustworthy weapon of choice,the grappling hook.
              "Ok then.....Do we have a deal?"Dipper asked,taking out his hand.Mabel gave a determined glance,and shook his hand.
             "Deal."
            Dipper pulled Mabel soul out of her body,her body collapsing on the floor.
            Mabel floated up,and saw her new form as a ghost."Cool!"she passed through a wall,and came back again."This is amazing!"
           Mabel's body opened her eyes,revealing a pair of two slited maroon ones."It's not that fun!No one can see you!"Dipper exclaimed."Ugh,braces again."
         Mabel smiled."Yeah,no one can see me.I can do WHATEVER I want.Go do what ever Ford told you to do,Mabel and I'll have some party time!WOOT WOOT!"
          Dipper sighed,and walked out of the room,checking through Mabel's backpack."Ugh,these sweaters are so itchy!Does she have something else I can wear?"
           Dipper finally found a red hoodie and jeans,and he changed into that instead.He took off Mabel's headband and tied her hair into a ponytail.
          He smiled at the mirror."Now I'll be ready!"He ran out of the living room,taking his backpack with him.
          "Hello Mabel."Ford said.He looked into Mabel's eyes,and whispered,"Dipper?Is that you,boy?"
          "Yes it is great uncle Ford,yes."
           "It worked!"Ford exclaimed."Well,I'd better get going.You should too boy."
           Dipper nodded and ran into the gift shop,bumping into Candy and Grenda.
           "Mabel!"Grenda exclaimed."C'mon let's go to my house!We're gonna watch some hot romance movies............"
            Dipper stuttered."Uh-sorry girls,I have to go-"As he tried to walk away,Candy held him back.
            "Hold on!Your not going anywhere!"the smaller girl hissed,and Grenda made fists."I picked out some movies you'll love....."
            As they pulled Dipper away,he muttered,"Dear God help me...."
            He never realized someone was listening.

Hey guys Nessa again!Let me explain this chapter,when Ford said the only people able to decipher the code have to be possessed by demons before.Pacifica was able to decipher the code....she has been possessed.....There will be a chapter later with a flashback about that.And also,I'll draw a picture of Dabel later (Mabel possessed by Dipper,not a ship guys!)Well,that's it!Wish Dipper luck in watching all those horrid movies!BandanaQueen,out!
