Chapter six - Dead or Alive

Katie POV

Blood. So much blood. Jordan was bleeding and on the verge of being unconcious, Kailey coughed up blood, Bee walked away after saving her, like oh my. I hope no one's gonna die. Kailey was sitting on the ground, next to Jordan, wrapping him up in whatever we could to stop the bleeding. She looked faint. I guess she wasn't ok with blood either. Ancika motioned for me to follow. After a few minutes of walking, we got to a house of sorts. It was big enough for our Kailey to heal Jordan up in. I thanked her and walked back to Kailey and Jordan. Jordan looked like he was sleeping, but I didn't know for sure.

"Hey, Ancika has a hut for you to help Jordan in. No need for you to be out here." I said.

"Cool. How are we going to get him over there, though?" We stood in silence.

"I guess we're gonna have to carry him..." I spoke up after a couple of seconds. Kailey slowly lifted Jordan up by his back area, and I grabbed his legs. We slowly made a very awkward journey back to the hut. We laid Jordan down, he was still unconsious. I hoped he wasn't in a coma. Or dead. I shook it off and helped Kailey with Jordan.

A couple of hours passed and no response from Jordan.

"Do you think he's..."

"No. No. He's just sleeping." Kailey tried to reassure me.

"He's been sleeping for about three or four hours now. You sure about that?"

"Yes. Yes I'm sure, Katie." I nodded. Ancika came in with some bandages and healing items for Jordan.

"Ancika, do you think that he's-" I began.

"Don't answer that!" Kailey cut me off. I could tell that she was fed up with my persistance.

"He is not dead. In a coma." Ancika said. I nodded.

"C-Coma? Do you think he's gonna survive?" Ancika nodded. Kailey sighed.

"He's gonna be ok, Kail. I promise you. You've stayed with him for this long, plus you kept him from completely bleeding out. He's fine." I looked around. Kailey was asleep on top of the chest of Jordan. It was a long day. I don't blame her.

"Everything's fine, Katie. You're alive, Sean's alive, Jordan's alive, Kailey's alive, everything is a-okay." I reassured myself. "I promise."
