Chapter seven - Confused Poke

Kailey's POV

We finally are settled down at a small camp place that Ancika says used to be a old village of her tribes. I have been taking care of Jordan a lot and I completely am stressed out. I just need a break. I finish patching up Jordan and I grab a clean rag. I head out, close to camp, to a waterfall with a pound we had passed earlier. I strip down to my bra and underwear and I walk in to the cold water slowly. With a smile I sink in to the cold water, I'm so happy to just relax for once in a long while. I close my eyes and float on the water. I listen to the sounds around me to soothe and relax me as I picture a happy place. My relaxation is disrupted a bit when I hear a voice, "Woah. I-I'm so sorry."

I look to Will and giggle at his back. "Will, we are in the middle of nowhere and I might die someday, I don't really care if you see me in my bra and underwear." He scratches the back of his neck and slowly turns around. He looks me up and down and I can't help but blush at his reaction. He notices and blushes lightly as he clears his throat, "May I join you?" I giggle and nod, "Sure William." He chuckles and starts to strip down to his boxers and I watch just like how he looked me up and down. Once he finishes, he walks in to the water and sighs as a wave of relaxation washes over him. "This is so relaxing." I giggle and nod in agreement as we float next to each other.

"Do you think we could do this more often?" "As long as I get to see you in your boxers more then sure." We both laugh at my words and I can't help but feel like I'm betraying someone. I'm out here having fun when my friend is probably dying. This isn't right. I sigh and mumble, "I need to head back. I gotta know if Jordan is okay." I slowly sit up and Will sighs a bit in disappointment. "I understand. Go ahead, I'll meet you back." I nod and walk out of the water and slip my clothes on. Then I walk back to camp with two people in mind, William and Jordan. When will I just pick one?

Poke's POV(While Kailey is with Will)

I walk in to the small area we are keeping Jordan and my eyes widen in shock. Ancika is caressing a unconscious Jordan as she hums a tune lightly. "Thank god it was me who found you and not Kailey." She jumps up and looks at me a bit embarrassed. "W-Why would she be mad?" "Because Kailey has a thing for Jordan." She looks at me shocked and then her emotion quickly changes to confused. "I though Kailey liked Will." I chuckle a bit and then look dead in her eyes. "She does. But she also likes Jordan." She looks from me down to Jordan and sighs a bit. "He is so much different then village boys....If only he could be mine." I can't help but sigh at her words, I feel the same with a certain someone and I hate how she doesn't even notice me.

"Hey guys. What is this a party with Jordan?" Kailey says as she walks in with a light laugh. She seems happy and not so tense as she was before. Hmmmm. "I tried everything to wake him, I called Poke in to try and help but he couldn't wake him either." Ancika says with a small smile and Kailey sighs, her happy mood immediately drops and I can't help but frown for my friend. "He might really be in a coma. Damn...." I sigh and mumble, "It could be worse...." Kailey nods a bit in agreement and kneels next to him. Ancika frowns at Kailey but hides it and walks out briskly. Damn, this is so confusing and twisted.
