I walked back inside holding the doll. The Heelshires' were gone yet someone was still watching me. I grabbed the schedule and read it. I looked over at Brahms.
"You don't want to do this do you?" I asked him referring to the schedule. "Maybe we could just take the day off. What do you think Brahmsie?" I asked. The doll stared blankly at me. I knew his expression never changes but for some reason I took it as a no. "Ok.." I sighed. "What's first?" I said looking at the paper.
I walked into the study holding Brahms in my arms. I grabbed one of the books off the shelf, sat Brahms in his chair and began reading loud and clear.

After lessons I took Brahms with me into the living room. I checked the schedule but we didn't have anything to do for an hour and a half.
"Well what are we going to do now?" I asked.
I set Brahms down on the couch and began reading a book I brought to him. The name read 'Out of My Mind'. As I read to him the lighting in the room made it seem like he was smiling and his eyes were sparkling.
I smiled at him then checked the time. I frowned noticing our free time was up. "Okay Brahms, break is over. We can read more tomorrow. Let's see," I said as I grabbed the schedule off the table. And read. "4:30. 4:30. Ah.. there it is. Clean the traps? What traps?" I asked Brahms not expecting an answer.
I walked up to Brahms' room. "I assume the traps are outside." I said walking over to the closet and getting one of his hoodies. I put it on him then grabbed my jacket and I carried him outside.

I placed Brahms in a sitting position on the the stone steps. I saw a little box with a dead rat in it. "I guess these are the traps." I mumbled as I dumped the rat into a trash bag. I walked along the outside of the house holding Brahms like a child, looking for any other traps.
"Well I guess that's it. Let's go back in." I said as I opened the door and went in. I took Brahms' jacket off and hung it back up.

Brahms was sat on a chair as I made dinner for both of us. I set Brahms down and put the plate in front of him. I ate my dinner in silence, occasionally looking at the doll. After dinner I put the food on Brahms plate into the containers Mrs. Heelshire had showed me before. After I finished that I put it into the freezer.

Brahms and I finished everything on the schedule. It was bed time now. I dressed Brahms into his pajamas the placed him in bed and put the covers on him. The last rule flashed through my head 'kiss goodnight'. I hovered over him for a second before lightly kissing his forehead.
"Okay now be a good boy and go straight to sleep. Goodnight." I whispered. I made my way over to his door and shut off the lights then closed the door. I went to my room and got ready for bed then crawled under the covers, thought about the day, and fell asleep.
