I ran. I ran out of the forest and out of my past life.
I looked back here and there and they wouldn't be there anymore. But I kept running to avoid possible outcomes.
The sky grew dark every split second, so it was almost like it grew darker every step I took. It must've been about 6 o'clock evening or something. I'd been running pretty long. My feet began to get sore from the hard rocks and road and rain. My legs began to ache from the continuous running.
I looked back a couple more times and saw that no one was there. I needed to stop. I looked around and found a very dark and dirty alley. It wasn't anything I wasn't already used to, though. The warehouse wasn't all spick and spam, so the garbage, noises, and the smell wasn't something I wasn't already used to. I sat down next to a dumpster and buried my face in my knees and began to cry, something felt off. Should I have left? Will they find me? What if they do? What will they do to me?
It began to rain, and the large pants I wore began to stick to my legs. The rain revealed blood on my feet from all the things I stepped on. I observed my foot and saw all the cuts and bruises I had. I wiped off the dirt and pebbles that was on my foot. They still bled and hurt, but I got over myself. l had grown stronger from the so many different experiences I'd had past few years. I pulled on the baggy pants here and there because they would sink in. I pulled out my bloody knife and wiped it on them, then I cut half of each side to make them shorter. It made me a little colder, but I could get over it.
It started to rain hard on me, then I heard footsteps, then voices, and soon as I recognized one of the voices I froze. I knew they would find me. I stood up and ran as fast as I could, even though I was sore. "She's over there! Get her!" I heard one of them yell. "Yn get your ass back over here now!" I think Diggy yelled. Oh really Diggy? They were going to kill you? I'm happy I didn't fall for it.
I came to find that the alley was pretty big. There were so many turns I took. I hoped that I wouldn't come to a dead end. I looked back and saw the shadows that were chasing me, each yelling for me to come back or they'd kill me.
I kept running. For I would do anything to not be his forever. One of them shot at me, only to hit the side of my ankle. It started to bleed hard, and I gave off a screeching scream at the horrible pain it caused, but I kept running. I came up to a large wired gate and started climbing it. It was like it took hours to climb, because of how high it was. I was almost down until my big toe had gotten stuck in one of the diamond shaped parts, and I fell, flat on my stomach. I couldnt move nor scream, it was like I was paralyzed in a coma that I could never leave. I looked at the ground, and everything began to grow dark.
And I couldn't see anything else but darkness.
