The start of something new

Editor's Note: A lot happens in this part in many different ways! I hope you like it so far I've been enjoying writing this and I hope your having as much fun reading as me writing! :3

Gale's POV:

I was standing at the door to class knowing that Sylvia will arrive soon. "We're in the same room as this morning." I had told her. And there she was, walking over without a care in the world when suddenly, BAM the bully's of the school started picking on her. "Hey new girl, why are you hanging out with that useless Mutt!" he spat when he spoke leaving saliva all over Sylvia's hair. I dropped my books and ran over knocking him down to the ground. He hit his head and fell unconscious and I laughed "Who's the mutt now!" I replied as the pair ran of, the first one stumbling his way forward. "Are you alright Sylvia?" I ask. She seemed to be happy I saved her but she looked dizzy. Sylvia said "I'm fine, don't worry about me!" as she finished her sentence her eyes rolled back in her head and she started to fall. I quickly put my arms under her back and she softly landed in my hands. I ran to the sickbay, Sylvia in arms...

I went straight in and placed her on a bed. I grabbed a stool and sat on it as a nurse came in. She asked what happened and I told her the whole story. The nurse hearing this said "It's just stress and bad memory's, she'll be fine when she wakes up. I'll tell your teacher you had an accident and you two can stay here until everything's better." I say "Ok, thanks!" in a concerned voice as she walks away. A few seconds past and the nurse came back in and said "Sorry I forgot to ask, what's your name?". "That's fine, Gale Black." I say in reply. The nurse walks out and leaves us. I brush Sylvia's hair off her face and gently rub her cheek with my thumb. I whisper in her ear after about an hour or so "Please be okay... I've never had such a good friend before even if we've only known each other for a few hours. I know it's sudden but please be alright, your my best friend and I don't want you to get hurt." In a soft and sweet voice full of emotion. My ears droop down and my tail drops as I sit here for the next few hours waiting... hoping she will be okay...

Sylvia's POV: 

I leave my locker and start walking to class, thankfully I have a Food Tech class and I don't need to bring anything. I walk over to class and see Gale leaning against the wall, I was about to wave at him but stumbled over as some bully's shoved into me. He started to speak and spat while doing so. He said "Hey new girl, why are you hanging out with that useless Mutt!". I squinted when he spat and his saliva was all through my hair. I suddenly saw Gale and in a flash one of the bully's was falling then crack he was knocked out. Gale laughed and said "Who's the mutt now!" as they ran off, one of them stumbling his way forward. Gale turns back to me with a worried look and asked "Are you alright Sylvia?". I was really thankful he saved me from them but I was dizzy. I didn't want to worry him so I just said "I'm fine, don't worry about me!". Right after I said this I felt the world spin and everything faded, I didn't hit the ground though, I fell onto Gale's arms. Everything went black and my senses gave up trying...

I woke up, my vision blurry with something soft and warm on my cheek though I couldn't tell what it was at first. I moaned as I stretched out and I felt a sudden rush of wind and someone embraced me in a tight hug. My vision suddenly came back and I got up, the unknown figure letting go. I wiped the sleep from my eyes and saw Gale sitting there just waiting for my first move. I ask "What happened? I have no idea where I am right now.". He got up relieved and helped me up balancing me until the blood came back to my head. He then said "As soon as you started falling I caught you in my arms and ran down to the sickbay, where you are now. I have been sitting here for about 6 hours making sure you're okay.". I said "That's really sweet of you, thanks!". Then the thought 6 hours hit me, "What time is it?!" I ask in a panicked voice. "It's alright Sylvia, I asked the office to call up your parents and let them know your going to be home late. Once everything is sorted i'm going to help you get home and we will tell your parents what happened. Is that okay?" I sighed relief and said "Yes, thank you for doing this, even though we've only known each other for a few ours. Your a good guy Gale.". He was taken back by that comment, and he said "That's what friends are for right?". 

We walked over to my locker still being held up by his shoulder. "He's tougher than he looks!" I think to myself. We arrive at my locker and he sits me down against the wall. I see him opening my locker and grabbing my bag out lifting it onto his broad shoulders. He helps me up once again and I tell him which bus stop to go to and where to get off. Once we were on the bus I sat down and leant on his shoulder instantly falling asleep, it had been a pretty tough day after all. He awakens me and we get off and I start to groggily walk home with Gale. After what feels like hours we finally arrive home and he rings the doorbell and waits patiently for someone to open the door. I see my dad open the door and let us in already knowing who Gale is. He had a confused face as Gale walked in behind me and he saw Gale's tail and ears. After we had sat down and enjoyed a meal, Gale had left and my parents were happy with the explanation given by him. As soon as the door closed my parents started bombarding me with questions like "Is he your boyfriend, good job he's a great kid." Then my mum would agree or vise versa. I say "He's only a friend okay, and plus dating someone you've only known for a few hours is pretty weird!". I walk upstairs to my room and have my daily routine...
