2 months later...

The days seemed to pass by Sylvia and Gale as they grew closer each day...

Gale's POV:

I met up with Sylvia like normal each day and I knew how I felt about her, "I'm certain." I say to myself as I see her waiting in the distance. "Sorry to keep you waiting!" I say as I walk over "The bus was a bit late!". Sylvia said "Its fine don't worry about it Gale." as we embraced each other, my tail moved around her back and softly wrapped itself around Sylvia. "I have to say it... it's the perfect time." I think to myself as it feels like no one else exists in the world. "Wi... will you be my... my girlfriend Sylvia?!" I blush and let go of her as she stutters and blushes herself.

She seemed to be taken aback by the request but was happy and spoke. As she spoke the world went into slow motion for me and nothing else mattered anything more than Sylvia. She replied with "I... I thought you would never ask!" and smiled. She kissed me to my surprise and I felt someone else's lips for the first time, I was speechless but kissed back and we let go of our kiss after what felt like years to me. I walked to class with her hand in hand, a smile on my face, as I was the happiest I could have ever been in my life. We had health class and we were doing relationships in pairs, very ironic.

Sylvia's POV:

I waited at the usual spot at school we meet up at and waited for Gale with a few things on my mind. I saw his moving tail in the distance behind him and I knew it was Gale instantly. As he got close he said "Sorry to keep you waiting! The bus was a bit late!". I replied with "Its fine don't worry about it Gale.". As we embraced each other, his tail moved and softly wrapped itself around me. "I need to ask him out but I don't know how!" I think to myself in disappointment. Gale suddenly speaks in a very nervous and scared voice and it's the first time I've heard him speak like that. He said "Wi... will you be my... my girlfriend Sylvia?!" and blushed as he let me go. I blushed myself and started to stutter as I talked. I said "I... I thought you would never ask!" as I smiled and the world went in slow motion.

It all happened so fast for me to comprehend and yet everything still felt slow. I felt like we were the only people around as my lips touched his and I kissed him. He seemed surprised at first but kissed back, it was his first kiss but it felt like he had kissed many times before. I knew from then on our love for each other will never fail and last forever. We let go of the kiss after what had felt like ages to me. We headed off to class hand in hand and Gale had the biggest grin I had ever seen him have before. We had health class and were doing relationships in pairs... ironic.

After school ended I kissed Gale goodbye and started walking home. I felt butterflies in my stomach and knew I needed to get home before I threw up. I reached the door of my house and walked inside locking the door behind me. I have a shower and dinner and go to sleep. "I can't get the thought of it out of my head." I fall on my bed after closing the door and turn the light off. I think about the day, his words running through my head as a smile wears across my face, "Wi... will you be my... my girlfriend Sylvia?!". After a while I fell asleep with a smile still on my face.

Gales' POV:

I kissed Sylvia goodbye as we both went our separate ways, me heading towards my bus stop. I arrive home feeling sick in the stomach. As I take of my shoes I lock the door, cracking my toes after my tight shoes didn't let me the entire day. I walk upstairs and think about the day as I took a bath and had my dinner. I went to my room, locked the door and turned off the light as the day kept repeating itself inside my head. "Wi... will you be my... my girlfriend Sylvia?!" the words that came from my mouth and for once giving me happiness. I knew the next day I was going to be a knew person. "Someone actually cares about me!" I think to myself as I slowly but surely fall asleep... all the thoughts still running through my head.

The night passed by like any other except for something else... a connection that can never be broken was formed within their two hearts. And they felt like changed people when they woke up the next day...
