Introduction

Intro

It's a cold day, one I'd rather have not happened. It was a Wednesday, the temperatures that day were below zero. My brother only 14 years old decided to go hunting despite my mothers warning. When I went to find him.....I saw....I saw the pack of wolves that linger around our isolated house. I saw blood everywhere and I heard screaming. Then I saw my brothers bloody face and the pain in his eyes. He told me to run, but my feet wouldn't move. I witnessed his death but me being only ten, I couldn't confront fully grown wolves. After they devoured him alive the alpha female spotted me. Suddenly they all came for me. I quickly began to run, I found myself deep in the forest. I ran up the nearest tree. Though they stopped barking at me they slept under the tree I was in. That night I climbed into the next tree, but I made one wrong move. The branch I grabbed snapped, all of the wolves woke and began to snarl at me with clenched canines.

Of course, I was trapped again. I began to doze off, but then I heard a familiar voice...it...it was my mothers voice. I knew that if I replied that she would end up with the wolves attacking her, so instead I remained silent, her voice began to fade away within the next few minutes and I began to weep, knowing I will probably never see her again. Once again I was alone with the wolves. That night I worked out a plan. I made spears and sharpened them with a small pocket knife that my brother Jacob gave me. I began to throw them at the wolves. I cried while killing them. Their whimpers were like those of an upset puppy. The alpha male jumped up the tree missing me by inches. He was my last kill. I never knew that killing something besides a bug would be that hard. The alpha female and the rest of the pack began to retreat, but before they were gone, the Alpha female looked back at me. She looked into my bright green eyes and deep into my soul, she saw my deepest fears and what I seek most....revenge.
