I wake up in my room with Jeremy next to me, he's stroking my long brown hair. He then notices I'm awake and smiles with wide eyes. I begin to sit up, but Jeremy gently pushes me back onto the bed. "I'm fine, really". "No. You need rest. You've lost to much blood to be active". I just stare into his eyes, knowing he isn't going to lose me, not yet. He then says, "When I got the paint I was with my mother. It was the last time I saw her. We were exploring the forests looking for supplies. Then we found a cabin. It seemed abandoned....but it wasn't. We went in and found the supply of paint. We grabbed it and began to walk home. When we were about five minutes away we heard growling. They were wolves. They surrounded us. They went for my mother first, I tried to fight them off but she told me to run. I listened but as I ran I began to feel guilty. I felt like it was my my fault because she was dead. Eventually I reached the house. I didn't sleep that night. The next day I went to find her. Well I did, and she lay there I pieces. The wolves tore her to pieces. I found the paint still there. I picked them up and walked away, that day I vowed I would destroy the alpha female, I even gave her a name. It's Hera, a Greek god, one of the most hated. Anyways, that week I painted the entire house and I've lived here alone ever since". I'm found at a loss for words. We both seek revenge on the pack and the lead female, she was bigger than the male. Almost werewolf like.

I awaken to Jeremy by my side...again. "How long have I been asleep"? I say. "About four days", he says quietly. He then kisses me, a long kiss. "I love you he says". "I love you to", I say with tears beginning to run down my face. I then slowly work my way up without being forced back into the bed. I slowly begin to stand, I feel myself fall into Jeremy's arms. He helps me back up and we work together to get me on my feet. I then successfully balance on my feet and begin to walk towards the kitchen to get the first meal in apparently four days. That day I limped my way around the house, and Jeremy stayed with me.

I haven't been able to leave the house for over a week. I've been miserable. I've had to worry about Jeremy leaving the house because of the recent wolf encounter. In fact he's out hunting now. He hasn't come back at his usual time, I'm getting worried. I decide to go outside and see if he is close by, but I don't dare leave the house. As I step outside I see nothing but the dim shadows of the trees and an occasional scurry of a rodent. Still no sign of Jeremy, my imagination starts to run wild. I then go inside, grab all my weapons, and leave to find him.

So far nothing. Not even the an occasional wolf howl, it's like the entire forest is dead. I continue walking, my foot is better and I have only a slight limp so I'm less worried about animal encounters. It's been over an hour and I've lost my way. After thirty more minutes of walking I hear rustling, but this time it's different. It's louder than an animal. I then take my spear and face the rustling, ready to destroy the oncoming creature. I then charge towards the sound and topple onto the thing. It looks humanoid and I hear it yell, "Stop! Please! I'm lost!" It's a boy, he looks around my age. "What is your name"!? I shout fiercely. "Adam! My name is Adam"! I then let him up and keep my spear pointed. He looks at me in fear, knowing I'm not afraid to strike. "Why are you here"!? "I don't know we were being chased my wolves. Please don't hurt me"! I then see another humanoid figure topple in front of me. It's Jeremy, thank God he's safe.

"WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN"?!, I say in an enraged voice. "I found him in the woods I had to save him!", Jeremy says defensively. I just stare at the ground, knowing I overreacted and shouldn't have cussed at him. "Then let's go home. Do you know the way"?, I say sweetly. "Yes, I do. Follow me". As I follow him I think of ways to apologize to him, I've never been the apologizing type, so I have to think this one through. After about an hour we approach the house. Adam then shyly walks I to the house, and I after him.

When Jeremy is asleep, I slowly creep out of bed and go to Adams room. There is a reason to why he was in the forest and I intend on finding out. As I walk in the room I see an empty bed. Where could he be? I then feel a tremendous force push my body onto the floor. I look only to see a blurred Adam. After a second I recover and see him staring at me as if he is the devil. He then says, "Don't make a sound or you get it girl". I just stare at him with wide eyes and say nothing, for I'm still out of breath from the blow of him pushing me down. But surprisingly all he does is continue talking, saying, "Next time your boyfriend goes out to hunt you and I will have a little time to ourselves", he says with a devious smile. I remain silent, processing the words spoken, and recovering from the shock of his tremendous body on too of mine. "Oh! and if you tell Jeremy at all about this, he'll be the one to pay for it", he says with a voice like Satin in the flesh.

The next day Jeremy doesn't go hunting, but says that tomorrow he will, and knowing that makes me want to die, just simply be let go from this horror story. The entire day I tried to avoid Adam, but everywhere I went there he was. I wanted to kill him, but I knew that if it backfired, Jeremy would pay for it. The rest of the day was a blurr, seeming to go by like a lightning strike, it was here and then it's gone. I stuck close to Jeremy that night, sleeping under his muscular arms to give me comfort and safety, though I knew not even that could save me. The next morning we all ate eggs for breakfast....it was a silent morning. After breakfast Jeremy got ready to hunt and said he would be back by sundown, which gave Adam the entire day to do what he wanted with me.
