Pregnant rumours and secret notes

Lucy's P.O.V

*beep. beep. beep*
I woke up to the sound of one of the most annoying noises in the world. My alarm clock. ugh. I reach over to my bedside table and hit my alarm off, then my room is finally filled with silence.

I'm so tired, I stayed awake until 2:30 last night just talking to Aiden about EVERYTHING...he actually opened up to me so much, which I was shocked by seeing as how we only met like two times but I'm glad he did.

Aiden has gone through so much. I feel so bad for him. All i want to do is help him. I need to help him. See Aiden went to a school called Newman college and he had two really good best mates, Steve and yeah you can guess who...David.

David, Steve and Aiden had been best mates since prep all the way until year 10, when David then started to bully him for reason's that Aiden still doesn't know. They started rumours around school saying how Aiden had told David and Steve one night that he had made a girl pregnant at a party and left her to deal with the child herself. From then on everyone started hating on him, bad mouthing him on social media saying, how could you just leave that girl? you made her pregnant and you cant even own up to it! you probably forced her to do it you rapist! it all started like that.

Then more and more different rumours kept spreading and not long after the whole school was bullying him, David being the "leader." Then Aiden found out David was moving schools in year 11 although he didn't know where to he was relived that he wouldn't be there anymore. He believed that once David was gone everyone would stop the rumours and carry on with their own lives, but that wasn't the case.

Aiden still got the same abuse he always did, David being around or not. They also began to beat him up all the time and Aiden would always go home in pain and a big bruise on his face, his parents were never there for him, back then they just thought its just "boys being boys." Until one day he got extremely depressed and overdosed, his mum found him sprawled across the floor of his bedroom and they rushed him immediately to hospital. Comatose and life on the line Aiden was done with everything, but he came back and he recovered and that's when his parents realised it's more then just "boys being boys."

So his parents decided to move him to my school 'Trinity college.' In Aiden's second period he had math class and that's when he found out David went here. David wasn't very impressed about it all and at lunch punched him in the eye, that's how he got the bruise i saw in gym after lunch. I knew there was history with them both.

As I made my way into the school gates I headed straight for my locker to put my bag away and grab my books for double English.

I reach my locker and find a note that just flung out floating to the ground. I bend down and pick the note up.

Lucy,
thank you for last night and not judging me. It means a lot!
I have never met someone who doesn't judge me, I thought coming to this school would help, you know a fresh start?
and I could finally get back to just finishing the school year. no distractions. but now you've come along...
and I think I'm already distracted by how beautiful your smile is! :)

the bell rings and I make my way to English where I meet Ashley. I then continue to look around the room where I try and spot a certain set of amazing deep blue eyes.

yet they are nowhere to be seen.
Two periods of listening to our annoying teacher Mr.Douglas just talk about his stupid sappy love story of him and his "soon to be wife." BORING.
Finally the bell rings.

"Hallelujah" I whisper to myself while walking off to lunch.

"Hey coming to the cafeteria?" Ash asks, "umm yeah I have to go do something first and then I'll meet you in there" I say.

Making my way to the back of the school under the biggest tree on campus I see them amazing deep blue eyes and big pearly white smile.

"Hey!" I say with a grin on my face, "where were you in English?"
"hi, umm didn't really want to come in today, I guess." he says with nervousness in his tone.
"but your here..aren't you? or am I dreaming?" I say while laughing.

"I need to ask you something. something important." Aiden says quietly.
"sure, go for it" I say happily.

"what do you do when you think you like someone but you know she'll never like you back?"
instantly I feel my face heat up. oh.my.gosh.
I knew straight away who he was talking about.

"and...uh...wh-who is this you speak about?" I say with some nerves in my voice.
"uhh...Ashley of course, she's beautiful!"
"ohh...her...?" I say with no tone In my voice.
"yeah, who else would I be talking about?" he asks.
"uh nobody...anyways....so I'll let you know how to get her...I guess" I say really not wanting to speak about it.
