Paper Dreams (BoyxBoy)

Summery

So, from what I've heard. Some people found my book confusing at certain points (which is totally fine). I mean I knew from the start writing a book of poetry in a story form would confuse the hell out of people. So, I decided to write a summery (without the rhyme lol) of what happens throughout the story.

Here we go

Chapter 1:
•We meet Max
• Max is currently on the floor cutting, sitting in his own blood
•He begins to get up and he catches himself in the mirror
• He finds himself covered in bruises and he doesn't feel loved or wanted
• Basically the rest is troye going through his many bruises and telling the story behind them

Chapter 2
•We meet Max's father for the first time
•We learn that he abuses alcoholic
•Max is sitting in bed and he can hear his mothers screams from downstairs
•Max decides to get up even though he considers this her fault
•He goes downstairs but doesn't fully go there
•He sees his mother getting beat
•He can't decide if he wants to help her or not
•he goes downstairs fully this time and basically tries to take the beating for her
•Instead, he gets scared and runs out the door like he usually does
•He goes to Freddy's house to release some pain (not in the way you're thinking)
•He knocks but quickly wants to turn away
•Freddy opens and quickly realized the situation
•Freddy still closeted, which means he can't fully be with Max
•He takes him upstairs and they do what they always
•Love, Fuck, and Cuddle
•Max wants to really talk to Freddy about everything but he doesn't want to bother him

Chapter 3
• Max is at school
•Max sees Freddy
•Freddy is being a dick
•Freddy sees max
•He wants to walk over to him but he's a freaking douche that's still in the closet
•Max talks about how it feels to be a skeleton in Freddy's closet
•literally just a long ass poem about Freddy keeping Max locked away

Chapter 4
•We see Max's father getting drunk once again
•Max is currently back in his bed
•We later learn that the cause of his alcohol abuse is his wife
•It tells the story on how one day Max's father came home, and walked Into his bedroom to see Max's mom sleeping with his bestfriend
•After this event, he began to abuse alcohol along with his failed marriage
•Max recalls the moment his father lost himself and that's when max realizes he also lost himself
•He realized all his insecurities came from his father
•Max is still in bed when father walks in drunk
•Max grows some balls for one second and screams at his father "No more"
•At this moment he learns that he can't stay here anymore
•He decides to run

Chapter 5
•Max thinks to himself about a plan
•He gets excited and worried about leaving
•He begins to pack his stuff and thinks about he always wanted to one with nature
•Max writes a letter to his parents
•Says his goodbyes
•Makes it into a shape of a boat to symbolize his freedom
•He leaves

Chapter 6
•Fast forward a few days
•Imagine max is in a car when suddenly he sees a beach
•This beach is peaceful and it screams love all over it
•Max stops gets out the car and he begins to worry about what's happening at home
•His anxiety starts talking and he gets very scared
•The depression starts moving and he starts doubting himself and questions his worth
•He stops and realizes he needs to let go
•He sees birds flying in the sky( a symbol I use a lot) and he wants be free like them
•His toes in the sand and the water right in front of him
•Max doesn't worry anymore

Chapter 7
•Max (a few weeks later) is now at a new place
•He starts thinking about everyone at him
•Wondering if they're worried about him
•He checks his phone and not one single message or call
•He starts getting upset and he tries to talk himself out of it
•Max starts to think about Freddy
•He wonders if Freddy's even missed him or did he just use him
•Max begins to imagine a life with Freddy by his side and he starts to cry
•He looks up to the sky and he sees the pretty sky
•Imagine it's in Colors like blue, purples, and pinks
• He starts feeling better but he's still crying
•He remembers the happiness he had as a lost boy, so naive and innocent
•He stops crying and he gives himself a nice talk about being how happy he was at a younger age

Chapter 8

•Max reaches the end
