Chapter Eight

As soon as my eyes peered open, I checked to see if Blake was laying next to me but he was gone. Assuming that he left earlier, I shrugged it off, sat up, and stretched my arms. When I was done, I rub my fingers through my hair sleepily and glanced at the time. I groaned, if I didn't get it up now, I would be late for school. Just as I was about to pull off the covers and roll out of bed, I realized that there was a note right next to me.

Picking it up, I unfolded it carefully and then I glanced down to read:

SOS- mom

I frowned, it was just the note from Blake's mom that warned us that we needed to pick up the pace, but then I realized something. If that was the only thing on the paper, then why was it folded? Curiously, I turned the paper over and noticed that there was more.

I told you Paige that I am going to make your life miserable. Just wait until I do something with Blake that'll break your heart.

"Oh my gosh" I shrieked in shock as I threw the note across the room. My stalker, she was going to hurt my boyfriend, no way am I letting that happen! Jolting up from my bed, I literally stumble as I try to hurry to my cell phone. I had to tell Blake about this, I can't believe he didn't notice this.

As soon as I picked up cell phone, my phone rung indicating that I had a new message. Opening it, I realized it was from an unknown number.

Tell him and his mom dies. -your lovely stalker <3.

I shrieked and immediately dropped my phone in horror as tears sprung from my eyes. How did she know I was going to do it?! Duh, she was in my bedroom! Oh my God, what if she's still in here?! My hearted started beating faster and fear overcame my body, I couldn't believe this was happening.

I didn't want anything to happen to Blake, but how am I supposed to protect him now?! I groaned in frustation, I'm screwed!

Going to school later was terrifying for me, I already decided what I was going to do. I wasn't going to warn Blake and it made me feel so guilty, but what choice did I have? I sighed, even though I couldn't warn him, I'll try my best to protect him. Placing my fingers on the necklace he gave me for my anniversary, I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.

Once my eyes were open, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder and I swirled around to my friend Claudia. I smiled at her, "Long time no see."

"Hey Paige!" Claudia greeted happily, "Hey, I'm sorry about that, it's just that we all have been focused on the game. Oh and don't forget to come, it's tommorrow evening!"

"I wouldn't miss it for the world" I replied, "And I can't wait to see you cheerlead! How has everything been?"

"It's been going great so far." Claudia explained, "Faith is such a good cheerleader! She tells me that you and her are such great friends."

Ugh, not her again. "Not really" I replied with an eye roll,"She's too peppy for me and I think she has an eye on my boyfriend."

"Somebody's a little jealous" Claudia teased as she pokes me in the ribs. I roll my eyes again and slap her hand away.

"No, I'm not and I'm serious. Haven't you noticed anything?" I asked her as I crossed my arms.

"Well, I do see her gawking at him sometimes" Claudia said, "But don't worry, Blake loves you and only you. Blaige will live on!" I laughed as Claudia fist pump the air and playfully pulled her hand down.
