Chapter 3: The Akuma

As they were jumping from building to building, Ladybug asked her parter,

"Okay, so now I'm just some superhero bug?!"

"Focus on the girl in the air would you?"

"Fine. But I'm only doing this because you're cute."

Cat Noir blushed. "W-what did you just say?"

"I said I'm only doing this cause you seem cool. What do you think I said?"

"N-nothing....."

"Okay? Well, this bug's all fired up, let's take this villian down, shall we?"

Cat Noir nodded.

"Ahahahahahhaha!!! You will NEVER defeat me Ladybug and Cat Noir!"

"We'll see about that Heartbreaker!" Ladybug said confidently.

"Oh Travikins~ Where.are.you!"

"Travikins? What does she mean by Tra-"

Ladybug suddenly realized.

"Oh no. TRAVIS!"

Cat Noir turned to Ladybug, his eyes wide, and face pale.

"Travis. That's me....."

"What?"

"That's me friend. Yeah
..."

Ladybug rolled her eyes, and focused on Heartbreaker.

"Only one person called him "Travikins". Hm.... R-ruby?!"

Ladybug grabbed Cat's hand and tried to get closer to Heartbreaker.

"You know, I could've just used my stick Ladybug. But, this way is fine too. At least I don't have to use much energy now."

Ladybug rolled her eyes again.

"Would you stop fooling around? Fine, if you wanted to use your stick so badly, then I guess you don't need me."

Ladybug let go of his tail.

Cat Noir fell onto the floor of the roof, and rubbed his head.

"Woah. Ha ha, very funny." he said sarcastically.

Ladybug chuckled.

Once they were close to Heartbreaker, Ladybug used her Lucky Charm.

"LUCKY CHARM!!"

A jem appeared in Ladybug's hands.

"A jem? What am I supposed to do with this, gem?" said Ladybug holding up the pokadotted peice of jewelry.

"Think of something quickly m'lady,"

Ladybug glared at Cat Noir.

"I'M TRYING MY BEST!"

"Alright, alright. I get it Princess."

"W-what did you call me?" Ladybug said while blushing.

"That doesn't matter right now." said Cat Noir, avoiding her question.

"Hmm...how can I use this gem?"

She searched around her surroundings, trying to find a way to defeat Heartbreaker.

"I GOT IT!"

"Huh? Figured it out 'my lady? Well, it's about time."
Cat Noir smirked at Ladybug.

Ladybug glared at Cat Noir with one eyebrow raised.

"Okay, once Heartbreaker gets blinded, use your Cataclysm to break the chain around her necklace. Got it Cat Noir?"

Cat Noir nodded.

"Hey Heartbreaker! I think you might want this gem!"

Heartbreaker turned around to look at Ladybug.

"Ugh, what do YOU want? Unless you want to hand over your miraculous, I'm not interested bugface."

"Oh, then I guess you don't want this gift from your-"

Ladybug stuck out her tongue and cringed.

"Travikins......."

Heartbreaker gasped.

"MY TRAVIKINS?! I-I'll accept this gift under circumstances."

She grabbed the jem from Ladybug.

As the sun reflected from the jem, it shined in Heartbreaker's eyes.

"AHHHH!! My eyes!!"

"Cat Noir, the necklace!"

"CATACLYSM!!"

Cat Noir used his cataclysm to break the necklace's chain.

"Ladybug, your turn!"

While Heartbreaker was blinded, Ladybug used her yo-yo to grab the necklace in mid-air.

"No! My necklace!"

"No more evil doing for you little akuma. TIME TO DE-EVILSE!!"

The akuma came out of the necklace.

The akuma then became a white butterfly.

"Bye-bye little butterfly."

Ladybug picked up the jem, and threw it in the air while saying,

"MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!!"

Everything went back to normal.

Heartbreaker returned back to Ruby.

"Huh? What am I doing here?" asked Ruby.

"Pound it?"
asked Cat Noir.

"P-pound it."
answered Ladybug, fistbumping her partner.

Cat Noir escorted Ruby out of the building and back onto the ground.

"DADDY!!"
whined Ruby, while running.
