Chapter 5: The Invitation

At school after the weekend ended, Tori and Emma met up with Travis and Dante.

"Hey girls."
Travis and Dante said.

"Sup."
Tori said, high-fiving her brother.

"Hey."
Emma said with a smile.

"We'll just leave you two alone..."
Tori and Dante said while slowly walking away.

Travis pushed his glasses into place, and coughed. Emma let out a slight sigh.

Travis stared into Emma's lime green eyes and Emma stared at Travis's light green eyes.

"So, what do you think of Cat Noir?"
Travis asked Emma.

"I think he's the most funniest, coolest, sweetest cat ever~"

Travis blushed. He stood there speechless.

"So you really like him huh?"
Smirked Travis.

Emma nodded, not listening to Travis.

Just then, the schoolbell rang.

Everyone headed to class.
Travis and Emma walked side-by-side to class.

Ruby grinded her teeth at Emma.

"What does MY Travikins see in that mess you call a person?!"
Ruby said describing Emma in her perspective.

As everyone settled and sat down in their seats, the teacher, Mrs. Bustier said,

"We are having a dance at the end of the week."

Suddenly, the silence broke and all the children began chattering about the dance.

As school ended, Tori asked Emma countless questions about her relationship with Cat Noir.

"Tori, calm down....it's not like he's going to ASK me to the dance or anything."

Travis had overheard the conversation between the two girls, and got an idea.

"Uh, see you later Dante."

"Uh, where are you going dude?"

"What? Ohhh...I'm uh, going to spy on some ladies?"

Dante just gave a blank stare at his friend.

"Spy? I'm there!!"

"R-really? W-what?! NO I WAS KIDDING ABOUT THE WHOLE SPY THING, I JUST HAVE TO DO SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT!!"

Dante laughed.

Travis stared at his blue-haired friend feeling offended.

"Why are you laughing exactly?"
Travis asked, pushing his glasses into place once again.

"I'm laughing because I knew you were too innocent to spy on girls, man."

"What...no way. I can totally be the opposite of "innocent". Look, I'm going to uh-"

"See man? Too innocent."
Dante said while running his fingers through his hair.

Travis rolled his eyes and sighed.
"Whatever. I've gotta go anyway."
'Just hope they didn't get too far.'
Travis thought in his head.

Travis jumped behind the school where no one could see him, and transformed into Cat Noir.

That night, a couple minutes after Tori left Emma's house, Cat Noir landed on her balcony.

He knocked on the window.

Emma turned around, only to see Cat Noir's adorable smile.

Emma got flustered, but couldn't help to walk over to him.

"C-cat Noir....I uh..didn't expect you to be here...."
Emma couldn't speak.

"Wait....HOW DO YOU KNOW WHERE I EVEN LIVE?!"

Cat Noir just stood there, frozen.

"I have connections and stuff my little princess~"

Emma blushed a deep red when Cat Noir said that nickname.

"Princess, I came here to ask you something very important."

"W-what is it?"
Asked Emma.
