Marina Diamandis is the most wonderful singer ever. Right, now that's out of the way, serious face.
"Why should I like Marina?" That's what you may well be thinking. Well, I shall explain for you, my dear readers. (All two of you.)
1) She's absolutely gorgeous. Ok, ok. Beauty is subjective, and different people find different people attractive...but look at her.

I am a huge Marina fangirl is what I'm trying to say here.
2) Her lyrics are incredible. I can't stand a lot of chart music. My music taste is more Panic! At The Disco and Set it Off. Occasionally, however, somebody like Marina and the Diamonds or Melanie Martines will turn up and change everything.
Whether you relate to her lyrics or not, you can't really deny that they are incredibly deep. Here are a few of my favourite examples: "I feel like I'm the worst, so I always act like I'm the best." "I realised to be happy, maybe I need a little company." "Living with identities that do not belong to me." "I wanna stay inside all day, I want the world to go away." "Underneath it all, we're just savages." "Is there any possibility you'll quit gossiping about me to hide your insecurities."
You may not relate to these personally, but you have to admit that they have so much meaning, arguably more meaning than anything in the charts.
3) She's so nice. Just go onto YouTube and search "Marina and the Diamonds interview" and you will see. Her accent is also incredible.
If I have inspired any of you to check out her videos, may I recommend a few songs to find.
"Primadonna" (this is probably her most famous song) "Girls" (sums up my life) "Teen Idle" "Oh No!" "Savages" (calling out the entire human race) "Immortal" (her voice is so beautiful in this one)
