Suddenly, a car rolled up and began to shoot at Barbara. Yn ran out of the back door looking around. She found her mom laying on the street.
"MA!" Yn shouted she ran over to her and kneeled to her. Barbara was okay, Nothing was wrong.
"You okay?" Yn said helping her up.
"I'm fine." She replied.
"Ma, Its not always fine! You could of died!" Yn shouted as people looked out of the doors and windows.
"its fin-" Barbara began.
"NO! Why are you out here anyway!? This isn't safe at all!" Yn cut her off.
"Yn-"
"You could of died! Wait til' I-" Yn shouted.
"Im Dying,anyway!" Barbara shouted snatching her arm away from Yn, and making her way back inside.
Yn gave her a shocked look and followed her inside.
"What was going on?" Nelle gasped.
"tried a damn Drive-by on my mama." Yn mumbled.
"What?!" Tay shouted standing up.
"Relax, im fine." Barbara sighed placing her palm on his chest.
"Hell no! Yn, We gone find these ni-" Tay began, but Yn nudged his arm and turned him towards her.
"Dont talk about stuff like that in front of her..She'll front." Yn mumbled.
"Oh, Aight." Tay replied.
"Im fine guys, Really." Barbara sighed. "Hey, I should go home and get some rest."
"Oh! Can we stay!!" Riley shouted.
"Please!" Jade added.
"It's up to your sister." Barbara said pointing to Yn.
Both jade and Riley turned towards Yn placing their palms together pleading.
"Aight..Yall sleep in mama's room." Yn smiled.
"Yay!" They cheered.
Barbara sighed and waved walking out of the door.
"Be safe ma'." Yn said.
"Alright." Barbara replied.
Tay clenched his jaw thinking about who was trying to kill his Aunt. he sat in the chair and placed his balled fist under his chin. Yn walked over to him and placed her palm on his cheek.
"It's alright, We'll get 'em." She sighed.
"Hell yeah." Tay mumbled.
Yn sat next to jade and smiled.
"Yall want ice cream?" Yn smiled.
"Yeah!" Ray shouted before the kids holding Miah.
"The kids, baby." Yn laughed.
"Yeah!" Jade smiled.
"Yall wanna roll?" Yn asked the crew, getting up.
Everyone got up and walked outside. Chresanto picked Riley up on his shoulders and got into his car.
"Chres, What ice cream are you getting?" Riley smiled sitting in the passenger seat.
"I dont know." Chresanto sighed.
"Oh." Riley sighed.
"Seatbelt." chresanto snarled.
"Okay,Okay." Riley sighed.
"Oh, you wanna blast yo' favorite song?" Chresanto smiled sliding in a Cd.
"Which one?" Riley asked watching the Cd slid into the slot.
"Listen." chresanto smiled.
The song "My Niggas by Yg ft:Young Jeezy."Chresanto began to ob his head and smile at Riley.
Riley, on the other hand looked at him in a confused way.
Chresanto turned following Yn to a ice cream shop bobbing his head.
He realized Riley wasnt feeling it and he scrunched his eyebrows lowering the music.
"whassuh lil' Man?" Chreanto asked.
"It's....My mom said I cant listen to that anymore." Riley sighed.
"Look, If you grew up in a way that makes you who you are today, You dont need to change ANYTHING! If you got slang you gone talk with slang. If you listen to Rap you gone listen to rap. cause why? You is You!" Chresanto said glancing at him. he knew Riley loved the song, and He knew Riley was happy to be back with him. But, All the months he's been gone, his mom has tricked him into being someone he isnt.
"Dont let NO ONE change you!" Chresanto said. "You hear me?"
"Yeah." Riley smiled nodding his head.
"Yeaaah, That's whasuh! Remember that! Remember who told you! Aight?" Chresanto smiled.
"Yeah, I got you." Riely smiled,nodding.
"Good." chresnto smiled turning up the music. Riley began bobbing his head and putting his hand in a "Shotgun" figure and moving it in the air rapping along with the song.
They finally made it to the Ice cream shop by the beach. They parked and gt ice cream walking along the beach.
"Rollin' deep." Tay smiled licking his Chocolate ice cream.
"Role Call!" nelle smiled.
"Craig, Chresanto,Me, Tay, Bay, Nelle, Ray, Miah, Riley, Jade." Yn smiled walking with Miah in her arms and ray on the side of her with his arm around her.
"My niggah's!" chresanto shouted licking the dropping ice cream on the side of the cone.
They all laughed and continued to walk. Yn's mood became ruined once she saw someone she didnt want to see.
