The next day chresanto was over getting the job done with Riley. Tay and the others also camealong to help. Yn and Nelle went shopping for her mothers burial outfit, Along with the purple accesories that the men are going to wear.By the time Yn came back everything in the room was done. She walked in and saw everyone standing in the middleof the kids room. She gasped and saw that the walls were painted and one side of the room was made for a boy and the other was made for a girl, perfectly divided. Ray,Tay, Bay, Chresant, Craig, Riley, and Jacob smiling and dusting themselves off.
"hard work, today." Chresanto smiled.
"This is great! You got good matresses and the posters and the pictureson the wall!" Yn gasped.
"You know I had to help." jacob smiled.
"I see." Yn smiled. She walked around theroom and glanced at all the things they did. she walked past the punching bag pushing it a little. All on the side of riley's room had boxing gear and posters. All on Jade's side had Music notes and posters of piano's and cartoons.
"This is amazin'" yn smiled.
"I thanked them so many times." riley smiled.
"I bet." Yn replied.
Later that day Nelle had dinner cooked and everyone ate at the table as a family.
"when can we go back to school?" Jade sighed playing with her chicken.
Ray glanced at Yn as yn paused and looked at her.
"You wanna go to school?" yn asked.
"Yeah!" Jade smiled.
"Alright, Yall will have to move to a school here though." Yn smiled taking a bite out her chicken.
"What about ma?" Chresanto asked.
"What about her?" yn replied.
"We havin' a funeral or.."Chresanto slurred.
"Yeah, we are it's next saturday." Ray sighed.
"I guess I gotta whip out the same old Suit for shiot like this." Tay snarled.
"Right." Bay agreed.
"I wish I could of said goodbye." Jacob sighed staring at his food.
"We all do." Nelle added.
Riley stared at his food and leaned back in his chair. He kept having flashbacks on the scene he had of his mom. Everyone glacned at him as he sighed. He began to tear up, but he sucked it up and grew angry.
"I can ask yall somethin'?" Riley said through his teeth, not gicing eye contact. He just sat looking at his legs.
"Yeah." They all said.
"Who did it?" Riley asked.
"What?-"
"WHO DID IT!?" Riley shouted still not giving eye contact.
"What are you talkin' 'bout?" yn said scrunching her eyebrows.
"who killed ma?" Riley asked.
"Riley, You dont have to worry about that." Nelle added.
"Listen, she aint yo' mama, Aight?!" Riley said raising hios head and giving nelle a vile look. His eye's were red and tear's flooded them.
"She's right, riley." Yn said.
"Alright, Alright." Riley sighed. "Just know, When someone hurts someone in your fuckin' family, you make SURE they suffer even more!"
"Riley-" chresanto began.
"AND I'MA MAKE SURE! JUST FUCKIN' KNOW THAT!" riley shouted. He got up and stomped upstairs slamming the room door. Everyone sat in shock, except Yn. Yn didnt know how to feel about that. She stared at his chair and sighed.
"i dont even know what to say against that." Nelle sighed.
"I think Im done." Jade mumbled.
"Alright, baby, just go uh..Relaxin the livng room." nelle sighed grabbing her plate along with rileys and setting it in the sink.
Yn sat and stared at riley chair and played with her food.
"I guess im done too." Yn sighed standing up.
Later that night everyone went over what they were going to do for the funeral. chresanto worried about Riley. He and Ray deceied to go talk to him.
