"Well I think it's safe to say you got the job." Cailin said excited that a girl will be working here. A huge smile spread across Anabelle's face. "Thank you so much!" She said grinning as big as ever. "You earned it. Come back tomorrow for your first day at the time we scheduled." She says to Anabelle. "I definitely will! See you tomorrow!"
"Yep see you." Caitlin said as Anabelle walked away.

"Hey Cisco, I'm gonna go check on Barry alright?"
"Yep." Cisco said not looking away from the movie he was watching. Caitlin rolled her eyes and walked into the room Barry was in. He was still asleep and Caitlin had brought the thermometer with her. She decided to check his temperature since Joe and Iris had left a while ago. She stuck the thermometer in his mouth. When it beeped he stirred slightly. She took it slowly out of his mouth and read it. "102.7, that's a little better." She said queitly. "But not much." She muttered and decided to go and re-wet the washcloth on his forehead.

When she got back Barry was moving a little. His arms were wrapped around his stomach. He was groaning softly. She put the now wet wash cloth back on his forehead hoping he will feel better soon. Central City needs The Flash, metahumans were attacking like crazy and the police were doing their best to stop them, but she wouldn't tell Barry that. Knowing him, he would get up and go fight them anyways. But right now he needs to get rest. She thought about bringing him home when he wakes up and thought that sounded like a good idea. Right on cue he started opening his eyes.

"Mmmm Caitlin?" Barry said softly. "Yep it's me." She said smiling a bit. "I don't feel good." He said groaning and clutching his stomach. His face got really pale and then turned slightly green. She grabbed the trash can that was in the corner of the room but she was too late. When he got sick, he really did get sick, she thought. When he threw up twice on the bedsheets she said, "Come on, up you go." As she hurled him up and out of the bed. She helped him to the bathroom and took his vomit soaked shirt off. "Get in the shower." She said turning it on. "With my shorts on?" Barry said with a feverish looking smile. "Yes with your shorts on, I will get you some clean clothes in a minute. I'm going to help you shower now." Caitlin said a little sternly. He looked up at her and blushed, "I can shower by myself." He said defensively. "You can't stand by yourself Barry." She said looking at how she was holding his arms to keep him up. He finnaly gave up and let her help him shower.(in his shorts)

After they were done she sat him down and dried him off with a towel. She left and then returned with some dry clothes. "Yes I do have a stash of your clothes before you ask." He looked down and wrapped his arms around his stomach. "Hey what's wrong?" She asks softly. "My stomach hurts." He says clearly in pain. "Look at me Barry." He looked up and she could see the trears threatening to spill out of his pale green eyes. "Let's get your shirt on and then I will leave you alone for your pants. Then I can take you home. Does that sound good?" He nodded and she put his shirt on and left. A few minutes later she came back and helped him to a chair while she went to go get Cisco.

"Hey Cisco, I'm going to take Barry home for the night, he is still feeling really bad. I know it's late but he will be more confterble in his house with Joe and Iris." She said quickly. "Oh okay. Did he get sick again?" She nodded and said, "Also his stomach hurts so bad that he's in tears and his fever is close to 103. He really isn't well." Caitlin said frowning with sympathy. "Aw, can I see him?"
"Yeah, he's in the cortex, follow me."

They walked into the cortex and Cisco thought it smelled weird. He could see Barry in the chair sobbing. "I'm-I'm sorry." He wailed. Now that they were closer Cisco could see what they foul smell was. They floor in front of Barry was vomit covered. Caitlin came to his side. "No it's okay Barry. It wasn't your fault. I shouldn't have left you alone." Cisco chimed in, "Yeah man your sick, it's alright. I'm gonna clean this up, it will be okay." He assured him. Barry stopped crying but tears were still coming out of his eyes while Cisco cleaned him and the floor up. Luckily, Barry didn't soil his shirt again. "Cisco will you come with us and sit in the backseat with Barry just in case." Caitlin asks in full on doctor mode. "Sure I will go get the trash bin." He replies.

They made it through the ride without an 'incident.' Caitlin knocked on the door. Cisco and herself were holding Barry up.

Joe opened the door to see a very pale face. He hadn't gone to sleep yet, he needed to make sure Barry was alright. He let out a sigh of relief when he saw his son. He gave him a quick hug once he helped Caitlin and Cisco get Barry inside. Somehow he knew this was going to be a lonnng night.

Joe thanked Caitlin and Cisco as they left, then shut the door. "Are you feeling better Bar?" Joe asked him. "A little, I'm not throwing up every five seconds, still a lot though." He looked up at Joe with his puppy dog eyes, he didn't want to lie. So he tried to imply that he was still getting sick at least twice an hour by saying a lot. Joe gave a little wince. Barry could see Joe wasn't looking forward to this and neither was he.

Joe helped Barry to his bed and set a trash bin next to him. He and Iris would have to take shifts throughout the night, Joe taking the longest ones since he had more experience. Iris came in with a couple crackers and some water. She took the first shift.

"Please eat." She said after a couple minutes. "Nuh uh, I'm not puking again." He said and crossed his arms. "Barry. Your fast metabolism makes you burn through food quicker. You could pass out, that would be bad." She whispers to him. He reluctantly eats his crackers and drinks his water.

Barry fell into a restless sleep, waking up ever hour to throw up. Iris and Joe felt really bad for him, he looked really tired and all the vomiting was wearing the kid out.

Finnaly morning hit. Barry had been asleep for three hours straight. He woke up and felt no better. His stomach was cramping painfully. He knew he needed to eat something to stop the cramping. He was also very thirsty, he had the taste of vomit in his mouth and it was discusting. "Joe." He croaked, his voice almost completely gone from all the vomiting. "Joooeee." He moaned. Joe jolted awake. "Oh sorry Bar. I must have fallen asleep. What's up?" Joe said rubbing his eyes a little. "My stomach hurrrts. It's cramping like crazy and I'm thirsty." Barry said sadly. "Well then you need some food and water." Joe said and Barry nodded as Joe went to get some toast.

Barry started eating it immediately. "Woah. Slow down, you must be hugry." Joe said chuckling. "Fast metabolim, remember." He said on his second peice of toast. He could feel his stomach churning and suddenly stopped eating as he got very nauseous. "Barry are you alright? Maybe you should have stuck to crackers." Joe said furrowing his brows. Barry shook his head and closed his eyes.

Joe grabbed the trash bin that had been cleaned out many times last night. He put it next to Barry's face on the side of the bed, but he didn't seem to notice. He gulped struggling to keep his toast down. His face turned a shade of green as he turned over to the side of the best and threw up four times into the bin Joe was holding.

Barry felt absolutely dreadful. He finally stopped throwing up and leaned back into his pillow. "Can I lay on the couch?" Barry said with a cough. "Of course." Joe said and lead him to the couch. Joe put a blanket over him and felt his head for a fever. "Yep still there." He said with a frown and realized Barry was now shaking. "Can I h-have another b-bl-blanket?"
"Sure but that's it, we can't have your fever going up again." Joe shuddered at the thought of Barry in the bathroom yesterday, laying on the floor and puking every ten seconds.

Joe gave him another blanket and put a cold washcloth on his forehead. He heard light snoring as Barry fell asleep.

I know this chapter wasn't very exciting. I'm sorry, I just had to get Barry home and in bed so he could wake up in the West house. He needed to be there for the next chapter. It will be worth it for what I have planned for the future😄
