I open my eyes and find myself in a field of flowers. I spin in circles, taking in my surroundings. It's beautiful. The grass is perfectly green, and the flowers are bright purple. The sun's out, but it's dimmed by the surrounding trees. Birds fly across the field of flowers and I watch them fly together through the trees. The only words to describe this place, is happy and peaceful.

I look over my shoulder smiling, waiting for Tobias to appear through the trees, but he doesn't come. My smile falters, and I sit there alone. The bushes rustle, and I watch them, but nothing appears. "Tobias?" They continue to rustle, and I stand an uneasy feeling flowing through my veins. "T-Tobias is that you? Whoever's there it's not funny." I back up, and my heart jumps as I bunny emerges from the bushes.

I'm such an idiot. My wolf laughs at me, 'You were afraid of a bunny rabbit.'

'...Not funny, you were uneasy about it too.' She goes quiet, not wanting to admit she was also afraid of the adorable rabbit.

'Whatever, where's Tobias?'

'I'm not sure, maybe I can only contact him when he's asleep too.'

Just for the fun of it I call his name, hoping that maybe he'll hear me through the bond. I call once more, but I'm only greeted by the birds chirping in the trees so I give up.

'Dove? You there?' I look around frantically, smiling.

"Tobias? Where are you?" I'm so confused; I swore I heard him.

'I'm here.'

"But... I don't see you." He chuckles and I feel like a confused child.

'Oh, you must be resting. No you can't see me because I'm awake dove. I'm talking to you through mind link. It must be working because you were looking for me.'

I blush, "That makes more sense."

'So how's you're day? Not working too hard are you?'

I scoff, and roll my eyes, and stare at the clouds as if I'm talking to them, "Nope. Actually I haven't done anything today. All I've done is sit in a chair as Alexander does his stinkin' paperwork."

'Ah so he is working on the paperwork.' The paperwork? So he knows what's bothering Alexander? I ignore the statement and continue ranting.

"Yeah but it's miserable. Literally, I stood up and he scolded me for it." Sadness slowly fills me, "I feel like a useless child."

I can hear him sigh in my head, and our small bond makes me feel a bit of his guilt, 'I'm sorry dove. I wish I could make that feeling go away. But trust me princess; you're not a useless child.'

I smile and snuggle into the flowers as if they were him. "I wish you were here." It's a small whisper, barely audible so I don't expect him to hear. It's quiet, and I almost think he left, but then I hear another long sigh.

'I know Princess, I wish I was with you too.' I close my eyes, and focus on my slow breathing.

'What are your plans today?'

"Uh, well nothing really. Well Isaac was thinking about taking me shopping."

'Isaac, he's the beta yes?'

"Yeah, but you wouldn't believe he worked for Alexander. He's no funny, and he's really nice. He's made sure that I feel at home here."

It goes quiet, 'Do you?'
