'Whether near or far, I am always yours'

Despite the stigma with long-distance relationships, Y/n never felt nervous about Brendon going away for months at a time. She supported his career no matter how long he'd have to spend away. They were always there for eachother when they needed it. Not a moment was taken for granted when he was home. They loved each other to the moon and back, nothing could break them apart.

When a certain tabloid started the rumor that Brendon was hooking up with some mystery woman, Y/n believed him when he said that it was false. Good on her, trusting her boyfriend. He kept his promise to her as well, he'd never even consider cheating on her, no matter how tense or stressed he was. It didn't matter what time of day it was for her, she told him that he could always call her if he needed to. That resulted in several midnight phonecalls about how much they missed one another, and even more Skype calls where he sang her to sleep after she'd have a particularly hard day at work. What he enjoyed most about touring though, was coming home after so much time had passed and seeing her. He got his chance to fall in love with her again, and he took that opportunity and ran with it. He'd spoil her essentially up until he had to leave the next time, even if she tried to refuse. He'd only wanted the best for his girl.

'Any change in time, we are young again'

On days that they'd both have off, they would spend it acting like little kids. Well, little kids that could drink legally. They'd run around the yard with a surplus of water balloons , they'd go see the latest movie, or they'd just simply go to a party at a friend's house. Whatever it was, Brendon and Y/n made sure to make the most of their time.

Neither of them were getting any younger, but spending time together made them feel like they were still 16. Brendon had introduced her to a whole new world of living on the edge, even if it was just doing a backflip off of the roof and into the pool. Y/n would never forget the time he'd taken her skydiving. It was one of the scariest and most exciting things she'd ever done, but he was right there with her.

Y/n had also shown Brendon somethings, like the time she'd taken him ghosthunting on Halloween. Zack played his role perfectly and managed to scare the absolute fudge out of Brendon. That was payback for all the times he'd stolen her clothes from the bathroom and made her chase him around the house in nothing but her towel. They kept each other full of life and love, easily becoming the world's most famous couple.

'In these coming years, many things will change'

Being an incredibly famous pair had definitely caused their lives take a sharp turn. Y/n's acting career skyrocketed, which caused her to land several roles in hugely successful movies. They'd decided it was best to move closer to Los Angeles so that she was closer to where she had to film at. Brendon refused to admit it, but her rising success worried him. He dreaded her landing a role with a gorgeous male lead and falling in love with him. She knew he felt that way, but no amount of promises and pleading seemed to change his thoughts. He knew he had to do something to solidify their relationship.

She'd said 'yes' to so many offers lately, but nothing compared to the way she said it when he proposed. It was the best night of both of their lives, and things only went up from there.

They married in the fall, it was a beautiful ceremony on a private beach. Neither of them had any hesitation in their vows; except when Brendon paused to wipe his eyes. The amount of success that they had was only growing, and soon enough so was their family when Y/n discovered that she was pregnant.

'But the way I feel, will remain the same'

They'd both been retired for quite some time now. Being huge celebrities was not something that they'd planned for their whole lives, they wanted to relax as they grew old together. Jason and Grace had both tried to get their parents to move to a home where they were safer, but Brendon and Y/n refused. They still kept each other young, nothing would ever affect that.

Y/n would still often find Brendon trying to sneak a water balloon every so often, but by now his reaction time was much slower. They were both in their late sixties and still acted like teenagers. Y/n couldn't help but shed a tear when thinking about her life, it was all too perfect. Her and Brendon's relationship had it's ups and downs like any couple would, but it was never anything serious. They had two beautiful children and millions of adoring fans awaiting a comeback. They had agreed not to go back into the spotlight. Sure it was nice, but it was really something they didn't want towards the last leg of their race.

They were perfectly content with their house in the hills with a view of the ocean. Their adorable grandkids would visit them often, but just being alone together was enough for them. They lived out the rest of their lives as each other's best friend, which meant more to them than anything else.
