*SMUT ALERT*

"C'mon, babe! Gimme a little room over here," I joke, nudging my boyfriend farther down the mirror. He laughs to himself and gives me a bit more space, and I can now get close enough to the mirror to do my eyeliner properly. I see him out of the corner of my eye, ruffling his hair before slicking it back again. "You've got to have like ten pounds of gel in there, your hair is fine, Bren." I tease and he smiles cutely.

"I'm so glad I'm not a girl, I don't think I could ever deal with having to worry about my hair and makeup." He fixes the sleeves of his shirt for the fifth time since I've been in the bathroom with him, and then he goes after his hair again. I twist the eyeliner tube closed and toss it into the small makeup bag in the corner of the counter. I've really go to bring more of my stuff here, I can barely manage just using basic supplies. Brendon and I were getting more serious and I spent a lot more time here than I did at my own apartment, but he hadn't yet asked me to move in with him. It didn't upset me, per say, but it did make me feel like he wasn't ready for something like that. I wasn't sure yet whether I was comfortable thinking that or not.

"You look fine, your hair is gonna get trashed in the pool no matter how much gel you put in it." I remind him, but he just shakes his head again.

"Yeah, how are you going to swim with all that stuff on? Won't it just come off?" I giggle lightly, Brendon didn't know a ton about makeup, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

"It's all waterproof, watch!" I turn on the tap in front of me, and splash a bit of water onto my face. I turn back to him and place my hands under my chin like a statue and smile at him. His smile fades a bit and he pulls at his swim trunks. "What's wrong?" I question, but he just shrugs his shoulders.

"I don't think you need all that stuff, especially to go swimming. You're naturally beautiful, you don't need to spend hundreds of dollars on all that," he waves his hand over the bag I have and I frown.

"Says the guy who just spent seventy bucks on hair supplies. I don't even need that much stuff!" He sighs and checks his hair once more before heading into his bedroom. I follow after him, and find him sitting on the edge of his bed, deciding on what pair of flip-flops to wear. I can sense that his mood has changed, and I place my hand on his back. He shakes me off and huffs, putting on his chosen pair and standing again.

"Just... drop it." He mumbles, opening his door and heading down the hallway. I'm left alone and I can't help but wonder what I had said that would upset him that much. I puffed out a small bit of air and rolled my eyes. If something was bothering him, he could man up and tell me, instead of storming off.

I dig through the bag of clothes I'd brought with to his house and pull out two different shirts. I'd originally planned to get Brendon's help with deciding, but I guess that was out of the question now. I pull out my phone and pressed the 'facetime' button, setting the camera to face outwards. Hayley picks up pretty quickly, which surprised me. I noticed that she was in the car, Chad was driving.

"Fuck, are you guys almost there? I still haven't picked out a shirt, that's why I called you." I hear Chad laugh and Hayley just smirks.

"Yeah, we're gonna be there in like twenty. What are our options?" I show her the two tops, one being a light blue crop top, and the other being bright orange and sheer. Either one would look good with my black bikini, that's why I was having a bit of difficulty.

"Alright... I'm gonna say the blue, I really like that lacing on the sides, it'll make you look hot!" I nod my head even though she can't see it, accepting her answer.

"Thanks honey, I just couldn't decide!"

"How come B didn't help you? Aren't you two coming together?" I switch the camera back to my face and sigh.
