Alecc's POV"Get to the caves. Just get to the caves." I chanted in my head over and over.
Sky's silver wolf ran beside me. We weren't very far from the camp but far enough I was regretting it."Faster." I told her.
A high pitched whistling noise reached my wolf's ear. Sky made a yelp of pain.
I jumped behind a tree an instant before a small dart hit the trunk with a harsh thud.
Looking back, her silver wolf stood there dazed. She took a step and collapsed.
I yanked my nose back as another dart was fired in my direction.
Running away, I quietly circled back on who ever was shooting.
A woman still crouched holding a small crossbow. She redipped the tip of the dart into a deceptively innocent looking bottle of liquid.
"Darn." She muttered.
"Looks like the other ones gone."A bury man stepped out of the brush and easily slung the silver wolf over his shoulder.
I stalked forward, planing to take out the woman first because she held the gun.
Suddenly something body slammed me, Yelping I tried to keep my feet. A larger wolf nipped me viciously. Fighting back with all my might I yelped for help, ripping my teeth through his shoulder, tasting blood.
He growled and I growled back. I jumped on his back and locked my jaw on his throat.
My body bucked as he tried to throw me. Dragging me to a patch of moonlight he put on a burst of strength and I flew off.
His wounds scabed and started to close.
"Werewolf." I thought grimly.
Wheeling and remembering the girl with the dart gun, I jumped to the left just as she shot.
The larger wer charged towards me howling, and when my attention was diverted a sharp prick of pain hit my shoulder.
"Darn." I thought as blackness started to touch my vision.
Shifters burst through the trees, one tackling the woman and the other three hit the large wolf.
"Sky!" I wanted to bark but the ground came up to hit my head and I faded into darkness.

Sky's POV
It was cold. Wet and cold.
My head rested in a shallow filthy puddle and something hit my face very few seconds.
Drop drip drop
Yanking my face out from under the insesent dripping, I opened my eyes and blinked to make sure they were open.
It was pitch black. My hand automatically went to my side only to come up empty.
My bag was still at Sirens house were I left it.
My next thought was for my talisman and feather. They were gone!
"I'm in trouble."
Reaching my hand out and hoping it wouldn't touch anything disgusting, I felt rough stone in all directions.
"Hello?" I called out tentatively.
My head hurt.
"Alecc?"He was the last thing I remembered. We were running. The camp was under attack.
The deafening silence was broken only by the occasional drip of water. I shivered, uncomfortable with the absence of the stars and the absolute night.
