I mosied over to the door, and lifted my eye up to the peephole. I could feel my heart sink to my stomach with a nervous twist.

"Hello?" Elijah was outside staring through the outside of the peephole. I knew that he couldn't see me, but my heart jumped back from my stomach to my throat. What in Hades name was he doing here?  I thought to myself. More to the point, how does he know were I live..

I looked down at myself. Nothing but the towel wrapped around my waist, great, now this could turn out to be slightly awkward. More knocks on the door.

"Alistair? Mr. Stone told me were you lived." he sounded confident in his words.

"Hold on." Apparently my thought process was off whack today, so I opened the door to let him in. I tried to stand confidently, although being in a towel,it  was not working out very well.

"Ah, I was beginning to think you weren't home." He smiled. I saw his eyes look me up and down. "I'm sorry, did I interrupt-" he gestured to the obvious part that I was indeed half naked in front of him. I looked down, of course I knew what he was talking about. " Oh! No, I just got out of the shower, I was about to go get dressed when you knocked." I replied awkwardly.

"Oh, well don't let me keep you then." He stared at me with, what I was positive was an approving look as he continued to look me over.

I started on my way back to my bedroom. I made it half way down the hall before I turned around, feeling my politeness overpowering even me. "Help yourself to a cold drink in the fridge if you like." I smiled.

It seemed that I startled him by turning around, but he recovered quick enough, "I might just take you up on that offer." He laughed.

Turning around, I walked the last few steps toward my bedroom, closed the door behind me and collapsed to the ground, back against the door, all the while letting out a breath I didn't realize I was holding.

If he has this effect on me by just being here... I didn't finish that thought. Shaking my head, I scrambled to get up and got dressed. Finding a clean black shirt, and some dark red baggy pants, and some boxers, I ran across the hall towards the bathroom, and quickly put myself together, along with brushing my teeth, and combing out my shoulder length hair.

I looked in the mirror, and gave myself the approval to go out to the kitchen again. I stopped for a second and thought about what just happened. I just let a complete stranger into my house. I thought wildly. But it's an incredibly sexy stranger in my house; the other part of my brain was talking. Besides you know him, somewhat, he continued. But you only know his name. Why is even here? Why would Sirius give him your address? Thinking with the logical part of my brain.

Who cares? I finally thought. Shaking my head yet again. I'll just go see what he wants. Hell if he wanted to try something, wouldn't he have already tried it already?

"Exactly." I thought outloud. Opening the bathroom door finally, I walked out to the kitchen to find Elijah sitting at one of the stools by my kitchens island.

Jebus. He looks good.  I noted the black turtleneck he was wearing, along with some grey slacks that seemed to fit perfectly on his long legs. He took a drink of Pepsi from the can I assumed was from my stash in the fridge. He cut his hair.

"You cut your hair." I slapped myself. He looked over surprised. I blushed furiously, "Completely stating the obvious there."

He chuckled. "Yes, I haven't had it short since I was 18." he paused, smirking. "I thought it was time for a change."

So, that was completely embarrassing. I looked around, trying to find something to look at for the sole purpose of distracting myself from said embarrassment. I found a random picture on my fridge. It was of me and my father, we were at a Metallica concert; Mom had taken the picture.

I heard a throat clear beside me. I looked over to Elijah, who was waiting for me to say something. Probably waiting for me to say something about the fact that he was in fact here; in my house.

"So.." I bit my lip. "What are you doing here?"

He still had that smirk on his face, he was taking awhile to answer. I began to fidget, so in order to stop myself from becoming a complete idiot I walked over to the fridge and grabbed an energy drink.

Cracking open the top, I took a sip, letting the caffeine tingle my tongue. Getting so absorbed in the energy drinks taste, I almost missed what Elijah said next.

"I came to steal you away."

I nearly choked on my drink. Causing me to make a mess of myself.
