A couple of months flew by. I never saw anyone, just Lux. I disconnected myself from society, to make it seem I was missing, so it would make a bigger impact when I would return.
"Good morning. Its time to wake up." Lux said, pulling the curtains wide. Bright light filled the room, and I put a hand over my face to block it.
"This morning we have black tea from the eastern end, and a breakfast prepared downstairs." Lux said. I pulled myself to the edge of the bed, yawning. Lux brought out a dark dark blue and black dress. I let her get me dressed.
"Tight on the corset sadly. My family is visiting since its my return." I murmured, bracing myself.
I walked down to the dining hall, my dress hanging around me. I fixed my red hair up into a a bun to match with my dress, and Lux opened the door.
Leah, Liam, Lenny- the household triplets waited inside. Lenny was placing down a tray. They bowed as I walked in.
"Good morning young mistress." Lenny said, looking up. He was the house cook, and pretty good too, except for desserts. Liam was the gardener and footman. He couldn't spell very great when out delivering letters, so Lux wrote them. Leah cleaned the house hold, but she couldn't read very well yet, confusing labels. Lux fixed all their mistakes. But Lux usually needed to do nothing.
I sat down as Liam pulled out the chair for me.
"Thank you." I say, resting. Lux turned to them.
"Get to work." She ordered, and they scrambled out.
"I need to go into town." I told her. Lux nodded barely. I sighed and slumped back.
"Lux, I know in time you will kill me." I say, setting down my silverware. Her eyes flashed purple pink for a moment.
"I am your first master. But that doesn't mean you treat me like it." I said, standing.
"In public and at gatherings you will address me as master. When we are alone I want you to refer to me as a friend. Got that Lux?" I asked, turning.
She smiled at the corner of her mouth.
"Yes Crimson." She said, handing me my cloak as I swishes out.
