Fighting For You (Bokuto x Reader)

Chapter 3

As you and your brother entered the gym you heard a loud voice say, "Hey hey hey!!!! Look who came back!! It's me!!!!" From the voice, you could already tell who it was. It was none other than the guy you just saved this morning. You looked back to your brother to tell him that that was the guy you saved. He looked at you and understood what you meant.

You took you and your brother's school bag too but it on the bench at the side. Then all of a sudden a hand went to your shoulder and dragged you towards the loud voice. "Hey Bokuto! Since your the new Captain why don't you greet the 2 new members?" Asked the one who dragged you to "Bokuto". You looked up to Bokuto or the guy you saved and gave him a really small smile.

You then bowed along with your brother. "Please take care of us, Captain." You both said in complete sync. For a while there was silence then you heard an "H-H-HOOT!!!!!" You looked at the once loud and proud captain, to see he became a blushing mess. Your motherly instincts kicking in you immediately went to him. You placed a hand on his forehead to check his temperature. Then you asked, "Are you, alright Captain? Your not sick on the first day of school are you?"

While asking this you went closer to his face. Seeing his face got more red. Suddenly your brother was behind Bokuto to catch him as he fell back. You knew your brother's fatherly (*cough*motherly*cough) instincts have also started kicking. Both of you were kneeling beside Bokuto checking if he was okay.

Obviously overwhelmed by the situation Bokuto didn't know how to react. And for the first time ever he was speechless too. The rest of the team and managers were amused at Bokuto's reaction. After a while Bokuto somehow found his voice and finally convinced you and your brother that he was fine. You went to the other managers to learn more about them and the team.

(Timeskip to a 3 on 3 games)

After learning more about the team and what to do, you watched the boys practicing their serves. You noticed that whenever Bokuto serves it would only go in if your brother wasn't looking. So you silently went to him to give him some tips. You went to the now depressed Bokuto motioning your brother to continue practicing. You silently tapped Bokuto's shoulder to get his attention. Once he looked up at you-you motioned him to follow you.

Seeing that he was following you, but still sulking, you walked towards a more silent corner of the gym. You stopped and faced him, just to see him already sitting on the floor sulking. You felt a sweatdrop going down the side of your head, as you kept watching him. You suddenly sat down beside him and it caused him to flinch. You frowned a little but took out your phone with the ear-phones plugged in.

You placed one in your ear and gently placed one in his ear. You saw him tense up but relaxed immediately after you started to play some of your music. Soon enough the others finally finished their game, your brother's group winning. They all went to wipe their sweat and drank water until one of them noticed you and Bokuto. By this time You and Bokuto were fast asleep. You leaning your head on his shoulder, and he was leaning his head on your head.

To the team, it was an adorable sight and good blackmail. Once Your brother noticed this he grabbed his phone and took a quick picture. Once he was done with that, we went to you and Bokuto to shake you guys awake. "Bokuto-san! (Y/n)! Wake up practice has finished." He said while shaking both of you. Both you and Bokuto wake up to see your brother holding out his hand for both of you to stand.

"C'mon, we're about to close the gym." He said as you got pulled up along with Bokuto. Now that you're up you got your school bag your brother was holding. And Bokuto ran to he this bag which was already packed by the other guys. Once he ran back to you and the team, you guys locked the gym and headed out.

On the way to the gates there was a convenience store, so you guys went to buy some pork buns. (A/N: Yes they're like Karasuno always buying those pork buns) You guys chatted told each other stories 'till you reached the gates. Once you all reached the gates you heard a voice call. "Ohoho? (Y/n)-chan seems like you made some friends~" 'Ah... He came' you thought as you saw your brother looked at the direction of the voice.

"Oh, it's pain-in-the-ass-Kuroo-san and Kenma-san, nice to see you guys again." You heard your brother say. "Haah?! What did you say?!" You hear your cousin yell. "*sigh* will you to ever get along?" You heard Kenma ask. "Never!" "No..." They both answered glaring at each other. You looked at your team who looks lost on what's happening. "Ah... Guys meet my cousin Kuroo Tetsurou also known as–"

"pain-in-the-ass-Kuroo-san"

"Oi!!!" Your brother and cousin interrupt.

"Keiji, Tsu-nii, No."

"Sorry (Y/n)/-chan"

"And this is my best friend Kenma Kouzume also known as–"

"the better one of the two"

"I CAN HEAR YOU YA' KNOW?!"

"KEIjiiiiiii, TSU-Niiiiiiiiii"

"Ah, sorry"

"Sorry (Y/n)-chan~"

"Anyways, the tall cat is my cousin and the gamer one is my best friend." You "introduce" your them to your team. Looking unsure of what just happened, you told them that this happens every time. Suddenly you a certain owl talk, "Brooooooooo!!!!!! KuBroooooo!!!! I didn't know you were cousins with (Y/n)-chan!!!" "BROkutooooooo!!!!! Was'up brooooo!!!!" "Broooooooo!!! "BROOOOOOO!!!"

You, your brother and Kenma look at each other and you were sure you had the same thought.
