I woke up the next morning with my bedside clock reading 10 o'clock. It was actually pretty early for me seeing as I had been awake for most of the night due to my stupid dreams.

I got out of bed picking up a pair of jeans and a hoodie. I walked to the en suite and had a shower. I looked in the mirror and was glad to see that my hair hadn't had a further spaz attack. There was something weird though. It seemed as if I was more alive. I know it sounded strange but I had even felt it yesterday. Happiness and that was one emotion I hadn't been familiar with for a while now.

I left the en suite, and walked out of the room to see my best friend walking out of his own. Dylan.

He looked as gorgeous as ever.

"Why did you let me win?" He asked huskily. His voice was beautiful aswell.

"Huh?"

"Yesterday. Why did you let me win?"

Oh. He knew. I shrugged the lie flowing out of my mouth with ease, "I didn't"

But he didn't reply. He just shook his head and walked away but as he did it had felt like a dagger had pierced my heart. He hadn't looked at me. Not once.

I walked downstairs into the kitchen to see Felix and Will there already. Felix looked up from where he was sitting at the table when I walked in but in seconds he was right in front of me.

"Alex! Where did you get hurt?' He asked frantically.

My eyes must have changed colour I realised. Will got up also to see what had happened.

"Hey why are your eyes white?" He asked half in awe and half in suprise.

"They turn like that" I said turning away from Felix's concerned gaze. I really didn't want to tell him that I was emotionally hurt, not physically.

"Why?"

I shrugged,  "I have no idea. They've been doing that for a couple of years now"

I made myself a coffee as Felix popped some bread in the toaster. He had given me that 'we're gonna talk later' look.

Will was very interested it seemed in my whole life story. Slight exaggeration but he wouldn't stop with the questions. I suppose I didn't really blame him to be honest. I mean it wasn't exactly normal was it? Colour changing eyes?

After breakfast I decided I'd go to the pack house to see how everyone had settled in. Felix said he would go with me and as we walked out we saw Aunt Heather sitting in the garden enjoying the rare sunny England weather. We sat with her for a while talking.

A little later we were walking towards the pack house when Felix asked me what I knew he had been dying to ask, "Why were your eyes white Alex?" His tone was stern but I just couldn't answer him truthfully.

"I stubbed my foot with the door"

"Fine" Felix said walking into the pack house. I knew I had hurt him which was evident through the way he practically ignored me as we took a tour of the house and checked up on everyone.

I was playing with my 3 year old friend Tommy in the hallway when my little game of tag was disrupted by none other than slut. Her face curled into such sneer I actually thought she deserved a medal to be honest. Her look could have melted me as she looked me up and down. I stood up to my full height.

"Problem?" I literally barked out.

I realised I had used my Luna voice as Tommy gripped my leg tightly.

Felix was right. This felt awesome.

Slut seemed to be taken back a little but kept her chin up.
