We were sat in the car heading to the city's biggest shopping centre. Luke was driving with Chloe sat in the passenger seat. I was sat at the back dying to get out. I had always hated long car journeys-especially those which didn't exactly lead to some place I wanted to go to.
We finally arrived, Luke parked in the car park which was literally overflowing. We got out of the car.
"So where do you wanna go Lexi?" Chloe asked linking her arm with mine as we walked into the shopping centre.
"Well wherever it is I'm sure that Luke doesn't want to come with us, do you?" I asked Luke, with my eyebrows raised, who had been following us.
"Yeah Luke. You can look around if you want" Chloe chipped in.
However, Luke just shook his head and gave Chloe a little look. I frowned at this before it finally clicked.
"Dylan told you to follow me, didn't he?"
Luke had a sheepish look on his face, "I wouldn't say 'follow'...."
I sighed and looked at Chloe who was looking at me as if I was going to flip any second. I decided to suprise her a little.
"Well come on then! What are you waiting for?" I asked her. I saw as her face changed to one of relief. I smiled at Luke to reassure him that I wasn't mad at him. I knew who I was mad at though.
About an hour later and I was convinced that if we entered another shop I would scream. Chloe, detecting my fustration, suggested that we got something to eat. I wasn't exactly hungry after going to KFC with Will but to be honest I was more than happy to do anything instead of more shopping.
Whilst Luke and Chloe got a full meal, at a cafe, I just ordered a coffee. As I watched Luke and Chloe, in silence, I realised what a good relationship they had. I had witnessed it myself today. The way they looked at each other or the genuine adoration in Luke's eyes as Chloe tried on some clothes. I also saw how Chloe would blush when Luke complimented how she looked in a certain top.
I just wished some day I would find my mate and have such a great relationship with him.
"Hey Alex!"
"Huh?" I said meeting Chloe's pale blue eyes.
"You were daydreaming" she stated with a little smile.
"Yeah..erm...I do that" I said clearing my throat.
I could see Luke laughing at my flustered face.
"Are you laughing at me Lukey boy?" I asked him using a hint of my Luna voice. Ever since the little episode with Kirsty I realised how much of an advantage my Luna voice could be.
It seemed to have work as it was now Luke's turn to fluster.
"Urm...I just...."
Oh god! He was so cute! I kept the stern look on my face until I couldn't take it anymore. I could say that I pitied his expression but truth was I couldn't keep my laugh in.
I burst into hysterics and I was soon joined by Chloe.
"Oh? So you think that's funny do you?" Luke asked obviously understanding my little prank.
Before I knew it he had caked my face with well...cake. I squeeled as I wiped my face. Chloe was beyond hysterics now.
That was it. This meant war!
Ten minutes later and we were kicked out by a very peeved woman. Her expression and the stares we got from people were definitely worth it. We went to the toilets to clean up - we had a lot to clean up.
