"Alex?" She called out, "It's mama. I know what happened, I made you your favorite dinner. It's down stairs waiting."
"Th-thank you, but I can't eat." Alex's sobbing voice said.
"Please?" She pleaded.
"I can't. I'm so sorry. So sorry." Alex said as he broke out in sobs.
Randy pushed April aside and opened the door and comforted Alex.
"Come here," Randy whispered as April and Phil watched on.
Alex nodded and cuddled into his brothers embrace, "Wh-what?" He asked.
"Let me tell you a story." Randy said, clearing his throat, "A long time ago, a man named Adam had a best friend named Jason. Jason loved his wife Kim, so one day, Jason kissed her. And like you did, you saw it. But Adam learned a lesson that day," Randy mumbled,
"It was 'Sometimes we're meant to lose the ones we love,' but Adam did fight for her but he lost. He ended up loving a woman named Kaitlyn." Randy said, rubbing his back.
"Really?" Alex asked as Randy nodded.
"It happened." Randy said.
Phil smiled, wrapping an arm around April's waist.
"Now, c'mon, Mama has made beef stew for you and don't let her waste it. She put extra love in it," Phil smiled at April.
Alex slowly got up, and followed Randy to eat dinner.
