Ashtyn's POV

I was currently sitting in my office trying to work while Ayesha was pushing bridal magazines in my face.

"Can't we just go to the court house. I already had the big wedding." I said.

"No come on he is paying for everything. Just go for it." Ayesha said.

"I think you fail to realize 30% of all earning is my money also." I said.

"Yes I do but come on just celebrate your day." She said.

"Fine I will look at the magazines and pick what I want." I said opening the magazine.

"What are you lady's doing?" My Uncle Dell said walking into my office.

"Looking at these magazines." I said.

"I'm sure glad you kids worked it out." He said taking a seat.

"I'm glad to. I just dont see the point of having another big wedding." I said.

"Hopefully this is the last one. So live it up go big." He said.

"Sorry to interrupt but there is a package at the door for you." Stephen said.

I ran down the stairs to see what it was. I signed for the package and opened it. It was some flowers and a card. I opened the card and read it

"Who's it from?" Ayesha asked.

"My dad." I said.

"I thought he died?" Stephen asked.

"I thought he was to." I said looking confused.

"Dad!"

"Uncle Dell!"

"What is it?" He asked coming down the stairs.

"Why is my dead father sending me confradulation flowers?" I asked.

"Okay it's time you know the truth. I promised your mom i wouldnt tell you. Since she has passed away im going to tell you." He said.

"Okay start explaining." I said.

"Your dad isnt dead." He said.

"Okay i have established that." I said.

"He ran out on you and your mother when you were 8 months old. He wasn't ready to be a father and your mother wanted to spare you the pain of having a dead beat father. That is why you have your moms last name and not his." He explained.

"So he just up and walked out." I asked

"Yes, last i heard he lives somewhere is LA." He said.

"Oh okay. Thanks for telling me." I said.

I grabbed the flowers and walked into the kitchen and threw them in the garbage and walked upstairs.

I was honestly over this. I didnt need him then and I don't need him now.
