The Drought

The drought had been going on for about a year. I was lucky that I was still alive and not seriously ill because my mum provided me with food and drink (well just a bit)

It all started when the country's population was going down because nobody could afford the water bill prices, so they didn't get water and they became ill and died. As a result of this people be an to protest outside of parliament for the prices to go down because that's what everybody wanted. Eventually parliament gave in and decided to lower the prices of the water bills and the bottles of water. People loved this and lots more water was used, and I mean LOTS. As you can tell this is how we came to the drought.

Now all that's left of my country is miles and miles of cracked and destroyed dirt and caves.
