NICK'S P.O.V.

After we finish napping and eating we head out back to the bar. We split up again as I pick another guy for her. I see a blond guy Standing on the wall. He looks cocky. He hits on every woman that passes him. He's dressed nice , too. Perfect. I meet eyes with my sister to see if she approves of my choice. She always does. She begins staring at him and twirling her hair. I make my way over to him. "Hey, what's up man?" I say. I lean against the wall with him. "What do you want? I'm not gay." He says. "No, not at all. I'm just here to tell you that, that chick over there is checking you out." I say pointing at my sister. "Oh yea. I hadn't noticed. I think I might buy her a drink." he thinks out loud. "You should. Girls like that don't come often." I tell him. "I guess they don't. I'm gonna go make a move. Can you stay in case I strike out? You know so we can find some other babes in case.'' He asks. "Sure. Now go get'um tiger." I encourage him to hit on my sister. I watch him make his way over to her. He says something and she laughs. I watch him fall for her as he buys her a drink and they talk for a bit. I see him puts his hand on her leg. I get ready to defend if anything. Elizabeth shows no reaction and moves his hand gently in hers as she gets off the stool and leads him out the bar. I follow. He is a high baller like the guy from Texas. But he's from the New York area, I can tell from his accent. His room is on the 5th floor. He has a pent house, too. My sister brings him into his room. I wait outside as my sister works her magic. Ten minutes later she comes out. She looks kind of sad. "Did he not have anything?" I ask. "No he had 17 grand." She says and hands me the money. "Then what's wrong?" I'm concerned. What if the guy said something that hurt her? I'll go back and punch his face in. I don't like guys hurting my sister, in any way ,shape or form. "I saw someone downstairs." She says as we enter the elevator. "Who?" I ask now curiously. "Not someone I know, but someone interesting." She explains. "You want me to set that one up, too?" I ask holding her by her shoulders next to me. "Yes." She says. We both smile. I know she doesn't have a crush on him because she dislikes men. I mean she's not a lesbian, but that would make more sense than her having a boyfriend. My sister tells me everything.

We make it back to the bar. She points out the guy. He doesn't look like he has much.

ELIZABETH'S P.O.V.

I show Nick the guy I want to see. I know he's thinking that he doesn't look too wealthy. I know it's true, but I just want to see what kind of man he is. I've never seen a man like him. He caught my attention with his bright green eyes and curly mess of light brown hair. His wide face frame. He was a fit man. Not too muscular but not too skinny. He had black dress pants on with a white v-neck and a black blazer. The sleeves only went to his elbows. He looked young. 20. Only one year older than me. The guys around here were around their thirties. He wore a type of sneaker that gave away his age. He wore black and white converse. I found him to be an interesting specimen. I've had my eye on him since I came back to the bar. I went back to my spot at the bar. I waited for Nick to send him over.

XAVIER'S P.O.V.

I sit in a booth drinking. I don't drink usually, but today I got a new job in Nevada. I'm a performer. A singer and guitar player. I got in offer to play at this high class cafe. They said the regulars have been dying for something new. I'm new. I'm from New York. I guess my boss told his cousin about the crowds piling in and he wanted to see for himself. Then I got the gig. My new boss knows its only for two months.

My family originated in England. We moved to the states when I was ten. Even then I loved to sing and play. But, performing is more like a hobby. I always wanted to go to college to be a doctor, lawyer, and business man. In case I changed my mind after. As a teen I worked in a bakery. College is my dream. I got straight A's in high school. I even played football, or as Americans call it, soccer. I was MVP. I even got accepted to Harvard. They offered me a scholarship that included all expanses. The offer is still available. I just wanted to have some fun before I had to study hard. I wanted excitement. So with two months left why not Las Vegas? Sin City. Also known as the funnest place I've heard of. So yup. Just a nerd looking for some fun. Nothing that has to do with sex, but that would be nice. Since I only had it once in my life.

While I sit at the booth a man in a suit approaches me. He has brown eyes and brown hair. His hair is in-between his shoulders and jaw. It just hangs there. He looked kind of like Ryan Reynolds. "Is this seat taken?" He asks motioning to the empty spot across from me. "No, help yourself." I say. He sits down. "So what's your name?" I ask him. I sit up and try to starts a conversation. "My name is Nick. What's yours?" He asks. "Xavier. It's nice to meet you Nick." I reach my hand out. He shakes my hand and replies," Same here." After that I ask him about himself. He says that he's a resident of the hotel and he lives with his close sister. He's also an aspiring author. Then I tell him about myself. "Sorry, to interrupt you , but I couldn't help but notice her checking you out." My new friend Nick points out. He points to a girl with shoulder length black hair and a black dress. Her eyes were an icy blue. I could tell because she was looking straight at me. We made eye contact. "She's beautiful. " I whisper. I'm pretty sure Nick heard.

He looks at me. I can see the interest in his eyes. He looked back to my brother. My brother looks in shock. Had he said something? I watch them talk more and eventually the guy walks over to me.

XAVIER'S P.O.V.

Nick looks confused. "What?" I ask him. "You called her beautiful." He said still stunned. "Yea, what of it?" I ask. "Nothing, you should go talk to her." I get up and make my way over to her. I hope she'll talk to me and she's not stuck up. "Hey." I say. "Hi." She replies. "What's your name?" I ask. "Elizabeth, how about you?" She asks me with a smile. "Xavier. Can I bother you for a conversation?" I say. "It's no bother at all." She replies. We start talking for a while. She then grabs my hand and says,"Can we take this upstairs?" I could tell she wanted me to do some inappropriate things with her. I would accept , but I'm pretty sure she acts like this for reason. I want to show her the right way. "How about instead, you let me take you out for dinner? How's tomorrow at nine?" I ask. She looks at me with wide eyes. It's like she's never been out on a date. She gets out of her trance and says,"I would love to." She puts her hand on top of mine. We stare at each other for a while. It wasn't awkward it was more like we were just looking at each other. Her cheeks grew red. She didn't know how beautiful she was. She almost looked innocent. "So I'll see you tomorrow?" She interrupts my thoughts with hopeful words. "Oh yea, I'll be here waiting." I say as I watch her get up and walk away. She really was a mysterious woman. She glanced over her shoulder and winked at me. This girl would be the death of me. While I watched her leave Nick made it over to me. "What was that about?" He asked , probably wondering why I hadn't brought her to my suite. "I have a date with her." I say still stunned. Then I kept on saying it. Nick looked at me like I was crazy. Then I went up to my room.

ELIZABETH'S P.O.V.

I make it back up to my room. I start wondering what my brother is going to ask me. Why hadn't I brought him upstairs? Why did we have, 'a date? In all seriousness I didn't know any of the answers. Nick walks in the room. He has his hands crossed over his chest. "So you have a date." He says. I look at him with an innocent face. I nod yes. "Why?" He asks. Nick sits next to me. "Well I found him interesting as you already knew. Then when I tried to bring him to his room he denied and asked me to dinner. At that point my curiositygrew to a passion to figure this man out. So I said yes." I say shyly. I look my brother straight in the eyes. His brown ones reflecting across from my blue ones. "Well I hope you know what your in for. He was dripping happiness when you left. It seems he finds you very interesting as well." He grimaces. "Yea, and what had he said when he turned back to you?" I asked. "He said you were beautiful."my brother says seriously. "Really?"I ask. No man has called me beautiful, only Nick. Nick nods. He knows its rare and means something to me. "Enjoy your date tomorrow." He teases mischievously. "It's not really dating. It's just. Umm. Research. Yea research. I want to know what makes him tick. I need to know how all men think. It's the only way to never get caught up with one." I explain. "Well be careful what you research." He warned me. Then left me in my room and went to his own. I shower and go to sleep.
