XAVIER'S P.O.V.
I leave the room and close the door behind me. I walk through the massive hallway. I realize I never told Elizabeth I was wealthy. I thought she would just assume. But I guess she was clueless. Another thing I loved about her, she didn't care about material items. But she does care about me. I let her down. I screwed up. I should've ended it with Heather directly. Instead of just not talking to her. But Heather had some points, too. What did she mean 'bringing guys from the bar to her room'? I don't know how she'll ever explain this. Elizabeth wouldn't do that. She's too touchy. She can barely get used to me, how can she get a new guy every hour? I couldn't even touch her without her getting scared and shaking. But she's begun to trust me. So I trust her. She wouldn't let me down.
While walking down the hall I bump into my cousin, Henry. "Hey, I was just going down to see my parents. Care to join?" I ask him. "No, I have things to settle up here. I need to get my room in order. Also, Lindsey is visiting." Henry replies. Lindsey was Henry's younger sister. She was the one their parents kept. Henry moved in with us. As a young boy it thrilled me. Now I just wished he would go away. Call it a brotherly love. Every girl I had a crush on he would date. He was a football jock , straight 'B+' student, and popular. I did his homework and in return he'd invite me to parties I wouldn't go to. Just the feeling of being included was enough. You'd think that with my athletic background I'd have a way with the ladies. I didn't. Even as MVP I never had the confidence.
"Alright then." I say. He moves past me and I start going down the stairs. I hope mum and dad like Elizabeth. I mean there's nothing wrong with her for them not to. And my parents are fair and don't tend to judge people.
HENRY'S P.O.V.
I walk past Xavier. What a sucker. He should know not to bring a beautiful women around here. Especially with me. I sense that Elizabeth is fine woman indeed. I wonder if she's as faithful as she is beautiful. I know I should respect my cousin but its just so hard when he brings such a beautiful woman around. And I don't think it helps that woman find me attractive as well. I can't help that I'm so charming. I mean come on, I'm British. American girls eat that up.
As I walk down the hall Elizabeth walks out her room. She looks at me with wide eyes. She just walks with her head lowered. I put my arm in front of her. She stops. "Can I pass?" She says in a light voice. "Yes you may. But let me apologize for my behavior earlier." I say. She looks up at me with her big blue eyes. She was a truly enchanting creature. "Apology accepted. Now I must go." She pushed a little against my arm. She stares at me waiting for me to move. I put my other hand on the other side of her. So she was trap between me. Her back against the wall. She continues to stare. Is she scared? I begin to lean in when I feel to hands grip me and pull me away. A land on my bum. I look up to find a man holding Elizabeth in his arms. She already has a boy toy behind Xavier's back? I get up. "Don't touch my sister." the man says to me. Sister? Is this neanderthal her brother? Elizabeth is released from his grip and walks hurriedly down the corridor. "I'm sure this was just a misunderstanding."I say as I offer my hand out. He slaps it away.Hard. I shake my hand trying to get feeling back. The large man approached me. I began to walk backwards till I hit a wall. He points his finger at me and says,"If you ever touch her again , I'll kill you." He turned and walked away. I breathed in heavily. I must make sure not to display my affection so publicly. I'll just find her later when she's alone. Maybe even take her to my room for some down time. I walk back to my room conjuring up a plan on how to get Elizabeth to sleep with me. Hmm I wonder if she's a dirty girl.
ELIZABETH'S P.O.V.
Xavier's cousin Henry scares me. He is just insane. I'm sure he's a ladies man, but not this Lady's man. I'm so glad Nick was there to keep him from going any further. Also, that he didn't rip Henry to shreds. Although, part of me wish he had.
It doesn't matter. I'm here with Xavier. I love him. He loves me. I'm going downstairs to meet his parents. I hope they like me. I picked out a cute floral print dress. It is above knee length. 'A' neckline and thick straps. The only thing showing on top was my arms, not even my shoulders. I also did my hair to look like Rachel McAdams in 'The Vow'. You know before she went blonde. Anyways I wore some hot pink heeled ankle boots. I make my way down to the patio to meet my boyfriends parents. It's a nice day to be out, considering its almost fall and we're in New York.
I approach the patio and see Xavier sitting with a blonde woman and a man with a receding hairline. Though the hair be hind it is rather thick and full. I see where Xavier gets his hair from. The woman stands up and at once I am embraced in her arms. Man, she has a tight grip. I hug her back a bit awkwardly. "You must be Elizabeth." she says as she turns to me and shake my hand. "Y-Yes, I am." I stubble as his father shakes my hand as well. We all sit down at a glass table in elegantly furnished chairs. "We've heard so much about you!" his mother says. "Good things, I hope!" I say. I laugh , only half real because I am so nervous I'm desecrating 7 different colors. The rest of the afternoon goes well. I think his parents like me. They also met Nick. They like him, well at least his mom does. Nick kept telling her she could be his sister. She also insist I call her Ginny. She also calls me Liz.
*Few Hours Later*
We sit at a grand wood table. We sit in chairs covered in velvet. It's soft and comfortable. All of us our sitting down. That means that cousin of his is here, too. I feel him staring at me from the end of the table. I sit in between Nick and Xavier. His parents are across from us. And that dirt bag is at the end watching me contently. I try not to pay any mind to him. He means nothing to me. Just his cousin. his cousin wouldn't do that. Would he?
We feast on the meal the cook has prepared for us. it's delicious. In the middle of the meal a girl with straight red hair all the way to her butt walks in. Perfect figure, sparkly blue-green eyes. She's gorgeous. She instantly makes me insecure and we haven't even said a word to each other.
