The undying love of a mate... Too bad it's toward someone else chapter two

Chapter two:

Ali's POV: 

To say I was shocked was an understatement. It's not possible, there's no way that that girl could be his mate. I am! HE IS MINE!!!!!!! Hes not hers! 

Then I realised. I had to tell him. I had to come out. I had to face the rejection and harsh words. But I couldn't bring myself to speak it. I just stood there, shocked beyond belief. 

Soon though I was being pulled by Noah, my best friend. 

Noah, was a guy, and gay but he was how you would say 'in the closet' and he really was. He was so deep into the closet that the wall was starting to crack from the pressure he heaves onto it all the time. 

"Oh my gizzlekins Ali!!! Come here! I can't believe it!!!! How is that possible?!?! Honey, come here!"  

That was all the summoning I needed I ran into his arms sobbing my eyes out.  

We stayed like that for a couple hours, him holding me while I sobbed into his chest. 

A while later I spluttered random things but mainly I kept repeating, "why did I get stuck with a mate who'll hate me and reject me?!? Now he even has another mate! Why does the moon goddess hate me so?!?" 

Alpha Alex's POV: 

Mom forced me to make sure that everyone was at the dinner party. So I stayed back and stayed hidden counting every person that left. Eventually there were only 2 people left and I took note that one was Ali. 

After waiting for a few minutes I got impatient, so I went in looking for her and the other person. 

Coming upon the door I over heard their conversation, "Oh my gizzlekins Ali!!! Come here! I can't believe it!!!! How is that possible?!?! Honey, come here!"  

I knew that voice, it was her best friend Noah. But what were they talking about? I peeked through the door, just in time to see her run into his arms.  

I saw red. But then I heard her sobs and just stayed where I was, waiting for one of them to notice me. They didn't they just sat there, Noah holding her while she sobbed into his chest for hours.  

Suddenly she started spluttering, "why did I get stuck with a mate who'll hate me and reject me?!? Now he even has another mate! Why does the moon goddess hate me so?!?" she kept repeating that. Over. And over. And over again.  

What did she mean? 

Suddenly it clicked. She knew who her mate was. But she hasn't told him. And all because she thought he'd reject her. 

'WHAT AN ASS!!!!' My wolf growled. 

Somehow I found myself walking over there, acting like I hadn't seen the whole and heard the whole thing. 

"hey, you guys have to go.... Hey Ali what's wrong?" I asked playing innocent, then I realised that Noah still had his arms around her and added, " also Noah, if you value your life then I suggest you get your filthy hands off of her!" I growled the last bit.  

Their heads shot up and Noah's hands realeased her before jumping back. 

"who the hell do you think you are!!! Why don't you go back to your little mate! It's not like you have to worry about the possibility of having me as a mate for you've already got one," she paused just to laugh a short, sarcastic, sadistic laugh, "any who what's wrong is that.... Ummm... My mate indirectly rejected me" she mumbled, looking down at the ground. 

For some reason that pissed me off and I started shouting, "WHAT!?!? HOW COULD HE REJECT YOU!!! WHY WOULD YOU THINK THAT! Who is he! I'll kill him! I swear to the moon goddess he's dead as soon as I catch him!" 

Ali whimpered while Noah chuckled, "dude you can't kill him, that would only make it worse!" he growled. 

"Ali I command you to tell me who your mate is!" I used my Alpha command knowing she couldn't refuse unless she was my mate... Wait. Could she be? Nahh, suddenly I felt sick about the thought of someone holding her, kissing her.  

Now I was too confused to listen as she spouted out the answer I ran out of there calling out that I would be back to hear it later but I had something to do. 

I got to the exit then collapsed crying my eyes out, every once in a while screaming, "WHY CAN'T ALI BE MY MATE!!!!!!"

I heard footsteps and looked up. Ali. Suddenly a thought occurred to me, what if she here me? 

"why can't I just tell Alex? It would be so simple then he would reject me telling me that anyone else would be better for him then I'd leave town and find a new pack, what's so hard about that? Well except that my heart and soul would be shattered to pieces but oh well! At least I'd finally be able to leave! I don't want to see him with that w****! Oops I mean my new 'Alpha-female' well that was meant to be me! Ugh now I'm talking to myself!" she was grumbling. 

Wait! SHES MY MATE!?!?!
