Chapter 4

*three months later* 

Alpha Alex's POV: 

I found a note on my desk this morning, covered in Ali's delicious scent. My first thought was that she'd been kidnapped but then I saw her beautiful handwriting. I tore the envelope open and read the note.  

It was a poem that said: 

Dearest Alex, 

You've probably figured it out by now but if not I am your true mate. I told you to ignore me if you were rejecting me and you did. So please just let me go. Also this is to you:

I promise to love you forever, 

But no matter what you'd love me never, 

I'd kiss you and hold onto you tight, 

But before I can you say goodnight, 

My love for you has always shone through, 

But your hatred does too.

P.S. Please leave us alone. Retract your hunters and your efforts to get me back. Though I do love you I know what this is to you, a game. More specifically it is a game of how long you can f*** with my emotions before I crack. Well too bad someday I'll find some one new. And he won't care if I TALK to his friends. He won't hate me for hanging with his buddies when he's gone. Just leave I'm not gonna let you drive me to suicide so it's better to leave now. Or my pack will declare war on yours. Good bye. 

My tears mixed with the dried ones already there and I broke down. My Beta came in asking why I cared that she left so much about her leaving. It was then I decided, it was time to come clean I'm done covering it up. I called for a pack meeting at my house in an hour. 

*one hour later* 

"excuse me! If I could have everyone's attention please! Ah, thank you!" my voice boomed with Alpha power. 

"alright now I know everyone is wondering why I care so much about Ali and Noah leaving. Well to tell you the truth I care because Ali is my mate" I paused as everyone gasped. "anyway, the lady I told you was my mate was just a ploy in hopes of getting her to reveal herself to me, but instead Ali found a way to get me to reject her while I was angry and blocking her out. So now you guys understand why I need to get her back here, now my question is does anyone have and idea to get her here willingly?" I rushed through my story.

"well Alpha what if you got hurt? Even though you rejected her she can still heal you and she'll feel it when you need her, so if I dont know, say you broke a couple bones while training she wouldn't be able to help coming back here" stated Damon Salvatore, a vampire who "joined" our pack a couple years ago to get away from his brother Stefan and the love of his life Elena who chose his brother. 

"okay but Damon will be the only one to attack got it? Damon I want you to break both of my femur's and humerus' got it?" I stated pretty calm considering the pain I was about to be in. "let's go to the training room, we should at least make it believe able, now everyone else you are dismissed have a good night."

*half an hour later* 

Pain. So much pain. That's all I can think, can feel. When he told me it would hurt I never imagined it would hurt this much. I managed to get one more thought out before I passed out from blood loss.  

Ali, I love you please come home soon.

Ali's POV:  

I felt excruciating pain. First in my left femur, then my right. Next the right humerus followed closely by the left. My body moved of its own accord, running towards Greenville. I was there faster than I would've been any other time. 

I burst through the door, my feet carrying me to my injured mate without any concious thought. 

I broke when I saw him. Rejected or not he was still my mate. Some all four major bones were broken, sticking out of the skin. I ran to him knowing exactly what I needed to do. I kissed him on the lips, once for his femur, twice for his other, three for his humerus, and four for his other. But then I couldnt stop, I kissed him a fifth time and started getting a reaction from it. I went to pull back but his hand kept me where I was, not that I minded... Much.  

"please Ali, don't leave I accept you I'll prove it to you I'll scream to the heavens! ALYSSA WONDERGEM IS MY MATE AND I ACCEPT HER!!! FROM THIS DAY FORWARD I WILL LIVE FOR NOTHING BUT ALI! SHE IS MY LIFE, MY SOUL AND hopefully you'll be mine?" Alex proclaimed then whispered at the end looking at me as if I would disapear any second. 

"Y-y-yo-you don't want me, you want that one chick, what happened to her? How am I supposed to-" I was cut off as I felt Alex's lips on mine and his voice whispering into my mind, 'Ali why would I have some one break the four biggest bones in my body of I was playing with you?' 

I decided to turn off my mind for the night and just enjoy the night, I face the consequences tomarrow morning. 

That night I just stayed with Alex all night kissing him long and soft. Until it was cut short by glass shattering in the next room over. Suddenly someone jingled the doorknob. Damn, it's unlocked and whoever that is is coming in.
