An Assassin's Worst Enemy
Chapter 4-The Illusive Seduction
♀JENNIFER'S P.O.V♀
After about an hour and a half of trying to fix my suitcase (thanks to John), I finally made it to my hotel. I pushed open the double doors and walked into a beautiful grand luxe lobby which had an aura about it that screamed rich. The lobby was a divine shade of gold that, if I were to judge, complimented the creamy white of the floors perfectly. To the far right of the lobby was a bar and a lounging area complete with multiple flat screen TVs, couches, and chairs. As I looked to my left, I noticed it contained the same entertainment on the right minus the bar. Strange, I thought to myself, as I walked up to the registration counter so I could check in.
"Hello, my name is Kimberly Johnson, I called in a few days ago to rent a room." I told the man at the front desk.
"Oh yes, I remember you. Right this way," said the man with a blink of his eye, as he gestured towards another handsome man, who took my bags and led me to an elevator. He was much taller than me, with huge muscles and skin the color of black coffee. His feet were huge as well, probably about a size ten. It seemed stupid to care about the shoe size, but you know what they say – the bigger the feet, the bigger the meat. If you know what I mean.
My suite was on the tenth floor - room 1008. The man, who introduced himself to me as Devonte, opened the door to my room.
My jaw instantly fell to the floor; it was beautiful. The walls were purple (my favorite color) as well as the bed, curtains and floor. It was extravagantly furnished, with a walk-in closet and an apple computer on a white Hampton Bay 42” writing desk made out of the finest solid wood. I opened the door which I assumed led to the bathroom. The walls were a creamy, white color, and the tiles were purple and striped. The bathtub was- there was no bathtub- there was a luxurious Jacuzzi instead, which shocked me the most. There were two sinks with mirrors hanging above them. I nodded to Devonte, telling him I no longer needed his hotel services, but might need a different kind of service later. He smiled cheekily then left me alone in my suite.
Deciding I’d wait to try out the bathtub, I flopped onto the bed and figured I might as well take a short nap.

I awoke to the sound of a door slamming shut. I jumped up immediately, more alert than ever. I reached under my pillow and grabbed my pistol slowly inching my way out of the bed at the same time. My foot touched something hard and cold. I looked down and saw that it was a black suitcase with a sticky note on it - “J.B.”. I let out a sigh in relief as I realized that it was from my company. I reached down and opened the box. My eyes widened in surprise. Inside was a sniper rifle, a Colt M4 Carbine, and a Shotgun with a variety of bullets. As well as two boot knives and twelve dagger knives with cleaning tools for all. They brought everything I'd said I needed. I climbed back in bed and quickly feel asleep faster than usual.
I jumped in surprise as the telephone started ringing. I reached over and picked up the phone.
