Ok, guys, I'm really sorry for y'all who are enjoying this story but I can't write it anymore. It's depressing me, actually, and I have some serious writer's block. My heart just isn't in it anymore, so I'm gonna wrap things up and spoil everything for you. Please don't hate me too much.
Oh, and you know how Jackson was sidelined (hehehe), and needed someone to tutor him? Yeah, Eva became his tutor while she was dating Bryce.
---So basically what happens is Eva tries to commit suicide after she breaks up with Bryce (remember him?). Jackson finds her on the ground with an empty bottle of pills, near death, and saves her life by calling 9-1-1.
Then in the hospital, Eva and Jackson become a thing, and at first Will is totally pissed, but eventually accepts it.
It's all rainbows and butterflies until Mr. Morris (Eva's alcoholic dad) attempts to shoot Jackson. After that, it's all downhill as Kelly, Eva's ex-best friend, starts making out with Jackson against his will and Eva sees them and is totally pissed.
After she's serenaded and he gets down on his knees and begs, Eva forgives Jackson and they date again.
And here's the ending that I wrote a long time ago, for this:
*~*~*~*~*~*
Jackson and I walked out of the Starbucks and into the crowded sidewalks downtown. There was a crowd gathered around a bus. Inside the bus was a man, singing and playing the piano. The bus had a large window, like a food truck, and it was open so that you could see the man. I had to admit, he had a good voice.
Jackson smiled goofily as he pulled me into the center of the crowd.
"What are you doing?" I asked, trying (and failing) to hide a grin.
He snaked an arm around my waist and pulled me close to him, intertwining the fingers on his free hand with mine. "Dancing with you."
I blushed and looked at my feet grinning shyly, but nonetheless placed my hand on his shoulder.
"You look beautiful tonight." Jackson said, looking into my eyes.
A few people standing around us awed.
"You don't look to bad yourself," I joked.
"Eva, I'm serious. You are literally perfect in every way."
I didn't know how to respond to that, but I just knew he was better than Bryce. Jackson wasn't in it for the sex, or the popularity, or for the "street cred". He really wanted to get to know the real me. And to think, this probably never would've happened if he hadn't been sidelined.
Suddenly, I knew exactly what I wanted for the first time since Beth died. I went up on my tip toes and pressed my lips to his. Complete bliss.

9 years later:
I took a deep breath and stared at myself in the mirror."You look so pretty, Eva!" Gen exclaimed.
"Thanks," I said, unsure what else to say. I smoothed the pure white, tulle skirt of my dress.
My heart was racing as Gen carefully arranged the veil over my face. I stepped out of the dressing room and took Will's arm.
"I'm happy for you, little sister," he whispered, as we approached the double doors. I heard the music start up, and everyone rose as Will and I started down the aisle.
Tiana, Serena, and Anna were all bridesmaids, and Gen was the maid of honor, so I saw them all smiling at me up at the altar.
When Will and I made it to the front of the room, he kissed me on the cheek. "I love you," he whispered. I felt tears rolling down my cheeks. Will gave me to my almost husband, Carson.
If you're wondering (and you probably are), Jackson and I dated all throughout college, but he got a job in Australia. We broke up mutually, but I was crushed. I didn't date for 2 years, but when I saw a picture of Jackson with his tan, tall, blonde girlfriend, I decided that I needed to take my life back.
Carson asked me out a week later, and I agreed. Yes, the same Carson that unintentionally stole my first kiss. The neighbor boy. The rest is history.
Carson smiled at me as he took my hands, but there was a tickle of doubt in the back of my mind. My hands began to sweat, and I had a hard time maintaining eye contact with my soon-to-be husband.
"If there is anyone who does not wish for this unity, speak now or forever hold your peace," recited the priest.
There was dead silence for a few seconds, and I was almost disappointed. I had invited Jackson to the wedding, but apparently he didn't show.
Suddenly, there was a rustling from the back of the room. A sexy, tanned man stood up. He looked very different, but I remembered the curls and the green eyes and the dimples.
"Eva," he said. "I still love you. I know when I moved I broke your heart, but I'm back, and I'm never leaving. The reason I moved was so that I could buy a house and marry you. I want what's best for you, and that's me."
Tears of joy were streaming down my face, but my heart plummeted when I thought about Carson.
"I'm sorry, Carson. I can't do this. I love you, but like a friend." And with that, I walked away from the altar, and into Jackson's arms. "Welcome back, egotistical murderer."
