It had been a week since he had been in Canada. Walking down the street, holding onto his new book bag, on his way to the job that he had just gotten a few days ago. He was truthfully happy, still on the edge about every time that he saw an officer. Being greeted by his boss, Lauren, when he walked in the door. He smiled and waved at her, Heading to the spot her worked, behind the register. "How is your day so far?" He asked her as she walked past him on her way back to the kitchen. Her long black silky hair trailed behind her, "I'm Okay, it's okay." She smiled and walked off.
Looking out of the window, waiting for people to start to pile into the bakery. Someone cough his eye, a girl. She wore tattered up, dirty looking clothes, her hair pulled up in a messy ball on top of her head, and not the ones that looked even semi-cute. She looked through the window, seeing him stare at her, he smiled, she looked horrid. And at the moment all he wanted to do was run to her, pull her in his arms and hug her so tight, and reassure that he would take care of her. Even though she was horrible filthy, she was beautiful. He waved for her to come in.
