She looked so torn up, he thought. Waiting for a reply he watched her. Examining her closely, her black hair knotted upon her head, a now fading bruise rested on her cheek. Her green eyes filled with fear. A wave of sorrow swept over him. He noticed Lauren walking over in his direction, "Okay, so what would you like ma'am?" He asked the girl standing in front of him, he smiled and added, "I'm buying Hun. Don't worry. Get anything." Seeing his smile she eased up a little bit. She took another look at the menu and spoke softly, just above a whisper, :Um, a coffee and a muffin would be nice." She didn't have to say that she was thankful, It shown in the way her eyes started to twinkle. "What kind of muffin doll face?" He chuckled as he noticed her cheeks flushed red. "Blueberry." she replied looking at the pink and white tiled floor. "Thank you." She said looking up at him again, her teethe bright, but slowly turning yellow, most likely from not having any place to clean up. "Don't thank me, You looked like you needed help. If you wanna take a seat it will be out in a little while doll face." He smirked pointing to a one person booth in the corner. "If you want something to do while you wait there are books on the table in the middle, I recommend Rooming with Ash, its amazing." He finished placing the order and swiped his amount card, for the bakery. The bell rang and people started piling in the shop. He watched he pick up a book and take the seat. Costumer after costumer he helped every chance he would get, he looked up to see her reading the book in the corner, Pure perfection.
