Y/N's POV
I woke up after I had read for Irene knows how long. I rubbed my eyes and I got up. I yawned as I opened my closet. I pulled a pair of pants and a t-shirt out and got dressed. I walked over to Ember's crib and picked her up. I fixed her a small bottle and I walked out the door. I walked across the grass. it felt good against my bare feet. I went to Aphmau's House and knocked on the door. when she answered she said "hello! How are you two?" she let me in. I sat down and Aphmau gave me some tea. We talked about village matters and many other things a guard and a Lord discuss. I said goodbye and I went back home and put Emmy down for her nap.
ONE MONTH LATER
I remember when Ember was born A month ago. It was so peaceful. I realized that I should have told Garroth about Zane. I couldn't bring myself to tell him that his own Daughter will kill His wife. I thought about me. My family, their past, the Secrets. I felt my toes touch the water below me. It chilled me. I felt a strong connection to the water. Some kind of calling. I slowly heard a low whisper. "Remember, I won't kill you but your child will do it for me!" I shivered as the wind blew the sound past my ear. I slowly got up and I went home. as I walked home I saw Kyle and Alexis. Playing. I couldn't wait for Ember to be able to play with them. I turned to the forest instead. I saw a small piece of paper. it read "Secrets of the past are what you'll find, when you step in time..." I read as I felt the ground below me Collapse.
