Dipper and Mabel were having an ordinary day at the Mystery Shack. Cleaning, eating, and watching TV.
"Mabel, you wanna take a break?" Dipper asked. His arms were getting tired from all of the sweeping.
"Sure," Mabel replied.
The twins walked into the living room, plopped down on the couches, and turned on TV, only to see Duck Detective was on.
"Yeah! Woo-hoo!" They both shouted, excited for the program.
"What happened? I heard screaming!" Grunkle Stan yelled as he entered the living room.
"Shush, Grunkle Stan! Duck Detective is on," Mabel said, putting a finger to her lips.
"Oh, Duck Detective?! Scooch over!"
The three of them watched Duck Detective until around 3 PM, when Mabel had an idea.
"Grunkle Stan!" Mabel yelled, rather loudly.
"Ow!" Grunkle Stan hissed, putting a hand to his ear. "Stupid hearing aid," He mumbled. "Whaddaya want, kid?"
"Can we get ice cream? Please Grunkle, Please?"
"Oh, alright," He groaned.
"Yay!" Dipper ran to get Stanford and Mabel ran to get Soos.
"Soos, Soos!" Mabel yelled.
"Hey, Mabel. What's going on?" He asked.
"You wanna get ice cream with us?"
"Of, course! What's a day without ice cream? It's not a day!"
Mabel nodded her head in agreement before running down the hall to be greeted by an alone Dipper.
"Where's Stanford?" Mabel asked, truly curious.
"He said that there was something going wrong near the bunker, and he needs to stay around to monitor it."
Mabel nodded her head.
"Well, let's go tackle Grunkle Stan!" Dipper said, putting his arms in the air.
They all charged in the living room.
"Oh, hey kids. Let's get in the-"
Grunkle Stan was cut off by two kids and a grown man jumping on to him.
"Ow! What did I do to deserve this?!" He yelled.
They all laughed, getting off Grunkle Stan. They all piled into the car, going to their favorite ice cream parlor, Cold and Ready.
They all rushed out of the car, Mabel beating Dipper to the door, getting to order first.
Mabel ran to the counter, and rang the bell multiple times, despite the employee sitting right at the counter.
"What can I get for you, young lady?" The lady behind the counter grumbled.
"I'll have double fudge mint chocolate chip dipped in butterscotch in a waffle cone, please!"
The lady stared blankly at Mabel, before writing down her order.
"For you, young man?" The lady said, looking at Dipper.
"I'll just have one scoop of vanilla ice cream in a cup please." The lady slowly nodded her head.
"And for you, young- um, sir?" She sighed, looking at Soos.
"Hm, well. Hm, so many decision." He mumbled.
"This may take a while," Mable told the employee.
About five minutes later, Soos decided he didn't want any ice cream.
The lady made the ice cream and handed Dipper his cup, and Mabel her come. "That will be four dollars and twenty cents," She mumbled.
"Grunkle Stan? The total is four dollars and twenty cents," Mable told him.
"Uh, kids? Run!" Grunkle Stan bolted out the door with Soos and the twins following.
"Of course," the worker mumbled before going to the back of the parlor.
The gang walked back into the living room, only to see Uncle Ford standing there.
He held a old looking device with a radar on it, and he device was making high pitched beeping sounds.
Mabel gasped, dropping her ice cream.
"Aw, dude I wanna do that." Soos said.
He reached over and grabbed Dippers ice cream, then gasped, and dropped the ice cream.
"Soos!" Dipper yelled.
"Sorry, dude. I'll never pass up a great dramatic opportunity, especially if it contributes to the storyline."
Dipper opened his mouth to reply, but was cut off by Ford.
"Everyone into the bunker!" He yelled. Everyone rushed out to the bunker outside, and ran down the stairs. They reached the basement, and saw a portal forming on the wall, spinning right in front of their eyes.
Then, a boy walked through it.
