Brie's pov:
How would I describe my best friend? Well I've known her 15 out of 17 years of my life, and the only word that can accurately describe her is perfect. If I'm being honest, I've always been a bit jealous of her.
In pre-k she was the first in our class to learn how to write her name. Now I know what you're thinking, what's the big deal about that. Well when you're 3 years old all you want is attention from the adults. She got a this praise and animal crackers and all I got were extra lessons. And next to her I felt unimportant.
In 6th grade she got her first real bra. I was still in trainers. All the boys clearly noticed her growth because EVERYONE liked her. Including my brother but that's a different story. None of the guys noticed me. And next to her I felt ugly.
In freshman year she was in all honors and AP classes. She always got straight A's on her report card and was even a member of the National Honors Society. I on the other hand was extremely average. I usually got B's and not one single academic award. And next to her I felt stupid.
Now it's the summer before our senior year of high school and despite all that were still going strong. Although I get jealous I will always be proud and happy for her. She makes me a better person and there is no one else that would ever compare to blake. She was put into my life for a reason. And next to her I feel loved.
