Brie's POV:
"Please tell me who's brilliant idea it was to go on The Spinner three times in a row. I feel like I'm going to upchuck." I question as I make my way to a seat, still slightly spinning.
"Two things: one it was your idea and two never say upchuck again." Blake says shaking her head disapprovingly at me.
After the reveal about the Cameron thing I was expecting a little bit of tension in the air. However our relationship has been better than ever. I think letting it out showed how much we trusted each other and how nothing can ever change that.
"Hey ladies! My shift just ended, I'm all yours for the rest of the night." Cameron said taking a seat across from us.
We both say our greetings and decide to head To the pier. This is the first time the three of us have been together since the paper switch happened. So far everything has been going well. At least a lot better than I would have expected.
"Who would have thought we both have a crush on you?" I think to myself. Blake and Cameron both simultaneously stopped walking.
"Brie you didn't!" Blake shouts giving me the death glare. While Cameron stares with disbelief at me.
"You guys...like me." Cameron questions. We sit in silence giving him his answer. I look down at the ground not wanting to show my face.
"Blake I'm so sorry. I meant to say that in my head. I wouldn't blame you if you killed me, I would too." My cheeks flushed bright red with embarrassment. How can I be so stupid. How could I slip up.
"Brie its okay. I know it was an accident. Cameron this is probably really awkward for you. I'm sorry"
She says her tone matching my embarrassment.Cameron gives a light chuckle waving us off. "Don't even worry about it. I'm more surprised than anything. Listen how about we go get some food." He says while heading to the food area. He was being really cool about this. Yet I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed when he didn't grab our hands like usual. I guess the feelings aren't mutual.
***************
The topic wasn't mentioned the rest of the night. We just carried on as usual. However there was a slight shift in the air as if something changed. Something I can't pin point.
We met up with Jason King. Jason is a good friend of Cameron who also works at Chrissie's. Blake and I have hungout with him a few times with Cameron but other than that we don't talk very often. He goes to school in another town so we only see him at the park.
Jason is pretty cool. When Cameron introduced us to him 2 years ago I had a slight crush on him. He had a vibe that pulls you in. Not to menrion he's really easy on the eyes. One look at his eyes and you'll be swooning. However back then I wasn't ready for a relationship. On top of that he never payed much attention to me. So I let it go and moved on.
By the end of the night we were beat and no where closer to finding a boyfriend. To be fair we weren't putting much of an effort into it. Either we would forget or chicken out. No moves were made. Unless you count slipping up to Cameron or staring at Jason. If we didn't do something soon we would be single for the rest of our high school career. Nothing was going as planned.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>A\N: Hey all you beautiful people. How cute is Jason? I love him. ALSO should I make him a more prominent character in the book. Let me know! Should I make an about Jason?
