Brie's pov:
"Blake...come on get up!" I say pulling the blankets off of her. She is always a struggle to wake up. If it wasn't for me she would sleep the day away and never get a single thing done. "I swear if you don't get up right now I will get the bucket!" I threaten. Blake instantly jumps up, "Alright, damn, I'm up" Blake knows I'm being serious when I say that. Last week she refused to get up so I filled a bucket up with ice cold water and poured it over her. Her whole bed was soaked. I kinda felt bad. But now she knows I'm not playing games. "I don't understand how you can have this much energy this early in the morning" Blake moaned as she pulled herself out of bed. "Maybe because it's not morning, it's 2:37 in the afternoon. Now get your butt up and get ready. Meet me down stairs I'll make breakfast." I say as I throw a pair of shorts at her. I'm no morning person but blake can get a bit ridiculous. Sometimes I feel like I have to be her mother. I don't mind it though, because she's my best friend and that's what best friends do.

Half an hour later blake trudged down the stairs. As she walked into the kitchen I instantly saw her face perk up when the aroma of maple cinnamon french toast hit her nose. "You made my favorite! Have I ever told you you're perfect Brie Bunny? Because you are!" She said as she plopped down and dug in.
When we were 5 years old Blake started calling me Brie Bunny. We never really knew why or where the name came from but it stuck. She only uses it when it's just the two of us or our families because she knows I hate it. "Well I figured you deserve a prize since it only to a half our to get you up this morning instead of a full one." We both busted out laughing and and talked as we finished our food.

"So where are we going today" I ask while I buckled my seat belt. Today I'm driving and I'm so happy because I'm pretty sure I'm the better driver. "We'll I was thinking we just goto the Amusement Park. But can we stop to get coffee first. I'm in major need of a Java chip." She say while giving me the puppy dog lip. Which I don't understand why because she knows I love coffee just as much as her. "Of course, how can I turn down that face." I say while I make the turn to starbucks.
After getting our coffee we started to make our way towards Chrisse's. Chrisse's is an amusement park just outside Bare Lake the town we live in. We have been going to Chrisse's since we were 8 years old. It soon became our basic hangout. It's open year round because we live in a warm climate. We always buy the yearly pass because it's cheaper in the long run and we're always there.
I pulled in the parking lot and instantly jumped out the car. Something about the vibe I get when I'm here is amazing. The atmosphere here is something I will never get tired of. It almost feels like my home. Most of the workers here know me and feel like a second family.
"Oh look there's Cammy!" Blake yells while frantically waving her hands. Cammy is short for Cameron, although only Blake calls him that. He goes to our school and also works here at Chrisse's. We met him two years ago and he instantly intrigued us. He had a mysterious vibe about him. However now that we know him he seems just like any other guy we know, except with better hair. Seriously the dude has great hair.
"Hey Cam what's up?" I say with a small wave. "Hey ladies. Um not much just heading to the fireball. That's where they put me on duty but stop by later?" We nod in agreement and head our separate ways.
After a bit of discussion we decide to do the water park first. It's ninety seven degrees out and we needed a refresher. I'm wearing a light blue strapless top and black cheeky bottoms. Blake went with a peach halter top and matching bottoms. Man she really did look good and I couldn't help but to feel a small pang of jealousy when I stood next to her.
As we sat in one of the lawn chairs by the wave pool we couldn't help but notice a couple nearby making out. "Gross! Get a room!" Blake yelled earning dirty looks from the couple. "I don't know Blake maybe that's what we need. Neither of us have talked to anyone in a while. To be honest I think I was scared after he who shall not be named broke my heart. But maybe I should give it another chance." I murmur. Blake had a look of utter disbelief on her face. "Uhh okay." Is all she replied. "We are going to make it a mission to find a boyfriend at this park and no settling it has to be someone you connect with. Agreed?" Honestly I have no idea what has gotten into me but I a have no regrets. "You know what. Sure! Sounds fun." Blake says and I can't believe she's agreeing to this. She's had a few boyfriends but she's not one to just jump into things.
But this is how it started. Our little adventure. Now I'm going to warn you now, there was drama. Sure it was really fun, and there was a lot of really cute guys, but it definitely wasn't easy. Everything changed. Some things not for the better. But we were determined to do this with no regrets and that's what we did. And this is our story.
