Although he still carried that weight of pain from what his mother did to him, he could never stop loving her. Even if he was dead.

Nagisa felt better with out a life of his mother, he grew to learn that life had peace. A piece of peace he had been craving for.

His wounds healed up nicely, he often had check ups and his wounds where creating scars. No more sticthes and no more bandages.

And the one other person who could truely be happy with was Karma Akabane. His only true friend.

Thought the days, their bond had strengthen and they become close. Often hanging out in school, sometimes dishing school, doing the things a normal teen would do, things Nagisa had missed out on. And for the first time in his life, Nagisa was happy.

While Nagisa was at school, Teri worked from her office. Typing up her reports on her laptop, she documented everything regarding to Nagisa's case.

Although Nagisa was doing well in her care, the court regarding Nagisa's custody case, Nagisa's place in Teri's home was only temperaily. And unfortunately, if Teri can't find the next suitable family relative, Nagisa will be put in a Foster home.

Teri didn't want that, he was too old and he works will with single parents.

Teri had already submitted an request appeal extending Nagisa's stay with her. But the letter returned denying her request of extendion unless she intense to adopt him.

Teri's fingers tapped impatiently on the table as she stared at the blank adoption application.

Dreaming of blue eyes Teri grew fondly of Nagisa. She liked him so, Teri wanted to adopt Nagisa. And since there had no been any relatives wanting to claim Nagisa, the idea of adoption often floated in her head. She was happy too, excited to, but would that be something Nagisa would want?

Teri pulled her dark blond hair into a clipped as her hazel eyes reflected images of the screen, she began to type away.

Just outside of her office, a woman of long white curly hair with dark thick rim sunglass approach the door. The woman place her single skinny hand knocked gently on the door.

"Thee only field trip," Karma said with a smile.

"Too bad we have to leave so soon," Nagisa said looking at the view,"The view sure is pretty."
