-A Block Down The Road-

"Whoa," I said as I crossed the path of a time machine. A dark colored, old and rusty, work of art.

I decided to take a short cut behind the little shops where the Soup King was. That's when I met the scientific device. It had a screen in front of the seat that said, "Where would you like to go, Commander?"

Commander? Did somebody come along with this thing and just wandered off into the 21st century? Oh, I should stop suggesting these types of things. I'm freaking myself out! Well, I better think about it while I have the chance.

I hopped into the dark blue colored, cushioned seat, and bounced about a foot into the air. Ah-ha! A seatbelt! Wherever this guy came from, he is smart! If he's even the one to have made this crazy lunatic machine.

I thought for a second, then punched in the date on the keypad beside the screen, January 22, 1941 in Sofia, Bulgaria. I decided that I would help save my great-grandfather during the holocaust. My great-grandmother had told me all of this story a bunch of times so I remembered the date of the day before Pop-pop Jack was taken by the Nazi's.

"BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR."

"Ahhhhh!!!!!!!" I screeched and would've fell out of the seat if I didn't have the trusty seatbelt on.

The words had blasted out at me and had appeared on the screen. It warned me something else, though I couldn't hear it because I was startled so horribly. Thankfully, it repeated itself so I was aware of myself when I went back into time.

"Whatever you do in the time you travel to, it WILL affect human kind and the reputation of you, your family, every person on the face of Earth, and the survival of Earth itself on this date."

I hesitated for nearly ten minutes. Finally, I pressed the button which was blinking green and said "GO". It turned red and everything else went white.

Then, nothingness.
