I wanted to be alone. That's all I need right now. I couldn't go home when she was the one who kept this from me. Its been almost two weeks, and she can just act like nothing happened? Like my best friend was dead to me? It wasn't her choice whether I knew about this or not. The letter was addressed to me. Not her. Not the police. Just me.

I finally arived at the place near the forest I always go to. I crossed the cold slippery street, and was careful climbing down the hill side. When I got to the bottom of the hill I dusted off my pants of any mud, and leaves I got on them. I walked a few feet over to the bobbed wire fence. It was built to keep the deer away from the roads as best as possible. I moved a row of loose wire, and crawled through the opening. Once I was on the other side of the wire I checked my phone. It was close to the end of second hour. By now the school would have left a message on my moms house phone that i had not attended second hour. Tyler doesnt even know i stormed off from school. He would call me latter at lunch, and I'd have to come clean, but for now I can let it slide. He would understand.

I started walking further into the forrest closer to my spot. As I walked I got lost in my music. Feeling the beat through my ears into my chest. I could relate so much to the lyrics. I took a deep breath before something fell from the tree in front of me. I stopped. I paused my music. The bush was rustling. "Hello?" The bush stopped moving.

"CUT!" A man yelled. My heart skipped a beat. A little alien head popped up from the bush. I jumped back yelling into a bush behind me. "WHo is this screaming girl?! Why is she on my set!?"

People with camera, and equipment popped out behind lots of places. Some looked amused, and others looked annoyed. I got out of the bush as fast as I could. I dont care what this was for I was getting out of here. I started jogging away saying sorry to the people I pushed passed. This town was really weird, but the people were even weirder. When I finally got far enough away from that place i stopped jogging. I went to unpause my music when I saw I had three missed calls from Travis, and two text messeges. I opened the messages first, One from mom, and the other from Travis.

Tyler: Dude where are you? You werent at our normal spot or anywhere. You okay?

Me: Yeah, im fine. I'm actually not at school anymore. Im out in the forrest right now.

Tyler: What happened!?

Me: A lot.

Tyler Do I need to pick you up?

Me: No im okay.

Tyler: Youre not okay if youre in the forrest.

Me: mind meeting me at the spot then??

Tyler: I cant get off school grounds with my truck.

Me: Just run. Thats what i did.

Tyler: Of course you did.. Alright, fine. Ill be there in fifteen minutes or less.

Me: You should bring food. :) :) :)

Tyler: Chips and pizza? Or the special?

Me: Ew not beef stew! Pizza is better.

Tyler: Thoughts so ;)

I slid my phone back into my pocket. I wasn't going to reply to mom right now. I know I'll just go off on her about the letter. the letter... How was I gonna tell Tyler I finally got something from Amanda. He might react worse than I did. I mean he did have the biggest crush on her before she left. He knew her longer then I have. I exhaled painfully. This wasnt going to be easy.

I unpaused my music, and pushed the thought a side. I can handle it, and so can he. I countinued walking to the spot. When I got there it looked more stunning then ever in the soft afternoon light. The sun was covered with clouds, but it occationally peaked through. I was covered by many trees over head that were still slightly wet from the rain this morning. The stone cliff edge where Amanda, Tyler, and I would always hang out wasnt dry enough to sit on. So I stayed standing. I could look over the edge of the cliff as long as I want, and I'd still be messmorized by the sight. It was beautiful. Dark trees all over the place with a few lighter ones mixed in. The sky colored waters flowing down stream. Grey fish jumping out of the water. In the distance I could see a big black fur ball walking along side the water. It must be a black bear.

A hand grabbed my shoulder. I whipped my head around. It was Tyler. Here goes nothing. I pulled the ear buds out of my ears, and shoved them in my pocket. "So, why did you storm off from school?"

I took a deep breath. I grabbed the letter from my sweatshirt pocket. Without looking at him I handed it to him. "I finally got a letter from Amanda."

"What?" His voice shounded so small.

"And It looks like shes never went missing."
